As per the water ingress on connectors etc, dielectric solvent sometimes is worthy on connectors prone to water damage.

more people need to know that vacuum leaks cause "unmetred air" and thus MAF errors, it is alot more common then you think and a MAF can be a expensive part on some cars for a genuine bosch one! Smoke test is a must!

Nice fix! I had a 2012 XF some common issues to let you know about I had Water can leak through the drainage channel on rear windscreen as it passes down into the rear bumper though a cabin pressure vent or something and the water can end up under where the spare wheel/subwoofer is you can easily seal the vents or some people drill a hole in the bottom and let water you and then seal with rubber grommet - Also fuel gauge can read faulty I ran out with 30 miles range left

Use the torque bit and small 10 or 8 mill spanner to crack the maf sensor screw don't have to remove nothing else then

That washer pump wiring was a TSB at Jag dealers, they modified the wiring so it can't get to the BCM. Also check where your battery is in the boot as the slam vents are a common issue for leaking and destroying the electrics in there too!

Lee there is an upgraded part for the washer pump so make sure you have ordered the correct one, replacing like for like will not cure the issue. the washer liquid is pushed through a seal when under pressure. please make sure you have ordered the upgraded part mate or you are just wasting your time. also get the jag on a battery conditioner, a low battery can cause havoc with these jaaaaaaags. i keep my xfr on a c-tek as i only use it for short trips.

I mentioned the junction box on one of your vids, they're a pain in the back side man, all kinda systems are linked to it - Check head lamps fella, normally nearside is indication if you've a faulty junction box - If the lamp is out don't waste time with bulbs and ballast. Just change the junction box!
