The reddit shit is getting quite old in all honesty. Loot was too low and they buffed it. And looking at this pretending like it's a lot of loot is cope at best. The lootfilter makes it seem like half of these items have any value when they really don't. A few splinters and a few orbs in a high tier map with most of the other shit being crafting bases that are going to brick after the first transmute anyways. This is also going to get nerfed in the upcoming patch because of density reduction by primarily removing "Elite" spawns. Stop being a meatrider and think for yourself. If you've gotten to maps before the loot changes, or even right now, it's a joke. You can go and farm a rare spawn in Act 2 and get a similar amount of currency as you do in T15 maps. Yes, you might not get crafting bases like that but with how crafting feels at the moment anyways not that big of a loss if you just want to farm currency and buy stuff instead. But I guess typing "Waa, waa reddit bad" is all someone like you is capable off. :)

How would you reach red maps if you aren’t getting drops in late campaign/white maps to fix your resistances? Reddit haters always move goalposts. Nobody claimed that heavily juiced red maps don’t drop stuff like in this video. It’s the drops in white and yellow maps that are the issue. Cheesing cruel campaign rare mini bosses drops more currency than yellow maps right now.

New to arpgs and lv 86, i can't get 3rd ascendancy or past t4 waystone because gear isn't good enough for my skill level. I get 1 shot when i make a single tiny mistake and lose multiple hours of progress. Can't buy gear because the loot is bad, I literally have to dismantle hundreds of magics and rares to trade up to exalted orbs and dismantle gives no gold so i can't respec to a supposed better build that may or may not work because my gear isn't good enough. idk maybe im wrong but i came into the game thinking it would be more player friendly than poe 1 because John R said it himself but this is legitimately the hardest game i've ever played, it's not even close to souls games, gtfo, maybe fighting games but the ai hard cheats and is designed to beat you so you keep putting in more coins.

@@Casualfield If you are truly new then this is normal and a good thing. Congratulations! You are probably in the top 99th percentile of all players playing currently as far as progression. With more knowledge you will definitely learn how to make lots of currency in the future and how to effectively and efficiently map and make tons. The game has barely come out and is in EA with about a year before an official release (they are hoping for 6 months) so loads will change.

@@Casualfield my friend recently started playing poe first time ever and he decided to start poe2 because devs said its more player friendly than poe1. He started and i didnt help much, only told him what currency is this and what it can do etc. Game humiliated him pretty hard and he was mad because its not new player friendly at all(he was surprised by sheer amount of oneshot in this game). Personally i dont mind it being hard in acts, because i know what to do, i played poe1 and i know how to build defences/dmg. So he asked me to help him and i showed him how to use trade market, told him what to build first, whats better for his build and now he is doing much better, but damn, in some aspects game still destroying him. For example new ascendancy trials. Just yesterday he was fuming toxicity after 5-6 wipes on second ultimatum trial because debuffs were too strong for him. He succesfully completed second trial only because he got lucky with debuffs. And it was second trial, imagine what 3 and 4 will do to him and its just a fraction of what poe can offer, but god dayoum he was mad.

It's not really about a loot problem (inside a T15 breach that is not outside) its a build problem. If you are not running a busted herald build, good luck clearing breachs. Or just run lightning arrow deadeye like everybody and mother.

Does not even have to be. You just have to be smarter with how you progress your mapping, e.g. making the most out of towers, tablets, and boss/league nodes on the world map. It's definitely not simple for newer players, but "veteran" players who complain about loot are either: expecting PoE1 levels of loot explosions, or stuck with the old mindset of having to rush straight to red tiers expecting naturally better loot.

Ive also clesred t15 breaches with demon form cold (after nerf) and lightning spells. Demon form is far from any meta but it still works out.

This build is using 1 herald wtf are u on about. There are plenty of builds that work right now and damn near anything can run a herald to help with clear. I’m not sure what the issue is.

It's not exactly that. There is no way of actually juicing or tailoring your content, so the only way is to speadclear aoe. There is no content like uber lab, bossing, heisting, etc where a different type of build shines. So if your archetype is not made for the only farming method then you will have way lower income, way less than less powerful builds that fit the archetype

I'm lvl 90 in SSF and can easily farm big breaches but even tho a lot of stuff drops nothing really upgrades you. Splinters are no gear upgrades. Once you are ele and chaos resistance capped it's extremely difficult to get any upgrades because the crafting is pure rng. Greater Essences don't drop at all, Expedition is pretty bad from my experience. So what can you do besides getting Quantity via Breaches? But Quantity doesn't solve the problem, it's still pure RNG to get gear upgrades.

Well I think they meant in the early Acts. Really the amount of loot was probably fine, problem is it was all garbage and it was too hard to get anything good. They might have fixed it since then, haven't bothered to check honestly.

i was kinda hyped for poe2 .. but now that ive played it idk man they took steps in the wrong direction.. every rare mob just gets stunned and dies in the stun.. even bosses basicly die in a stun its so boring man, the only "difficulty" is not dying to dead monsters after death effects .. maps are HUGE and u have to kill every rare on reaallly low movement speed, or you just play deadeye and u just have 2 times the movespeed than everybody else .. yeah and you also do insane damage ..

@@esquillo3708 exactly, they teased poe2 as a slower game with more visual clarity and a few days into the early access ppl already speedclear breaches with a headhunter almost exactly like poe1. and most "pinnacle bosses" die in like a stun or a few sec and all the mechanics are avoided. they have alot of stuff to do.

If you play poe1 you have what you wanted, if you play poe2 right now you don't have what hadbeen promised. It's that simple, learn to make actual comparisons

There's loot in PoE2 once you reach the high endgame. Which you can reach *only* if you get good loot while leveling up. Afterwards, you *may* have the power to start interacting with the endgame. Maybe. Maybe you won't. If you can't, then you don't have good loot and you can't start doing the endgame stuff to get the fabled good loot. Then you're FAQed. Can you see the impasse or do you need a drawing?

the problem with loots is theres ALOT in act1-2 where they buffed it for character progression, 4-6 is dry AF then T10 and above it starts dropping again if you graph it out its like a DEADBEAT into exponential scaling which POE1 has but not as linear as if you juice properly to an extent even pre red maps in poe1 can/may drop shit just look at EMPYS party they NEVER farmed high tiers in POE1 but they kinda had to in POE2

Yeah I got wayyyy more loot in act 1&2 than 4-6. Went all of act 5 and some of act 6 with no ex. Feels a little better now in maps but probably only because I was SOOO starved late campaign. Hope they smooth it out

Problem is a lot of people is stuck on there third and 4th ascendency. So maps are not in their mind. Game is telling you to get your points before map but people cant b.c GGG wants people to do crazy ultimatum mods that people dont even touch till they get to T15 in Poe1. The game at the moment is ass backwards. Easy end game but insane grind for campaign. No wonder everyone is going minion. I would’ve been happy if they made act4-6 or w.e v.s late game in current state.

People are unhappy mostly about campain and early mapping, even after loot buff I went through several locations in the row without seeing a rare item and completed last 2 acts without seeing an exault. Almost all gear has rarity buff btw

For me its not that there is no loot thats the issue, its what you can do with the loot. It really is just transmute and pray, aug and pray again, regal and pray again, ex and pray again. I am missing scours and the crafting bench BIG time personally. Still loving the game just feel like i could be loving it a lot more.
