Reconnect, is going to be about the keyblade wars with the 7 black remnants of darkness and the 7 keyblade holders, only in my theory: Sora will become like the new Eroquus and join his spirit to Kairi, hence why she summoned him next to her after he sacrificed himself to bring her back. It's kind of confusing how I explain it, but you'll see in the next "Reconnect:Kingdom Hearts"

Also, Sora just can't catch a break, can he? Goes searching for his friends and literally loses his heart. Finds one, continues to look for the other, literally forgets everything, Finally gets back to his home with his friends just in time for more craziness to happen, enters the dream world and would have ceased to exist in all but body which would have been a puppet, bounces back but not really because now he's weak af compared to what he needs for the struggle right around the corner, only just gets through said struggle, once again loses his girlfriend, literally loses himself getting her back, and now based on the Secret Movie he has to play a cruel game run by crueler people to get back to his friends. It's like Sora's the main character in a self-insert fanfiction written by a sardonic author seeking to punish himself and choosing to do so indirectly through said fanfiction.

Based on his fading away at the end, and the warning about Waking/Sleeping being tied to Dying, PLUS his waking up in Shibuya's Scramble Crossing (like at the beginning of each week in TWEWY) and the likelihood of that meaning he's in the Reaper's game, in which the dead compete to return to life, it's safe to assume Sora is currently dead and the first part of the next game will likely be him fighting through the reaper's game to return to life.

Sora found her with the power of waking but it costed himself for it and he payed the price, he brought her back to the islands and instead of losing her again he chose to sacrifice himself no matter the cost to bring her home and I'm guessing he got to say goodbye to her before he went which is why she ends up back and he fades away
