Paisley and Patton were born with progressive hearing loss and their hearing quickly declined to a point that hearing aids were not providing enough benefit. Their parents, Summer and Bryan, knew they needed to explore a different hearing loss solution.
Paisley and Patton now wear Cochlear implants and their hearing loss doesn’t slow them down. Paisley is academically inclined and attends a mainstream school, and Patton is a social butterfly. Summer and Bryan were devasted when they first learned about their children’s hearing loss but looking back on the experience Summer wouldn’t change anything. Both her children are very successful, and she knows they will both continue to accomplish their dreams.
