The fact that they fully commit, and play out their ideas to the strongest degree is remarkable in and of itself. The fact that the execution is phenomenal as well is the true masterpiece here. Whoever your writers are: give them a raise, as well as your animators, and your sound designers, and your voice actors, and everyone else involved lol.

Normally I don't like when people depict Amy as a psycho, but this is a very good story. It hurts to see Amy like this, all she wanted was to be loved by Sonic, but she was constantly rejected and neglected. One really important detail is how Sonic never retaliated against Amy's look until she got physically violent with him. When he first saw what she had become he could've just run away like he always did and never looked back, but instead he chose to stay and try to reason with Amy. In that moment he showcased his true love for her, and his regret over not reciprocating his feelings for her back. It's so genuine of a moment. You're loved one has gone crazy, but you don't want to abandon them. You want to stay and help them overcome that craziness. You want to get them the help they need despite your fear. That's what true love is... being there for someone even at their lowest.

the part that got to me the most was the part where amy looked around and said “i’m better now, i’m a butterfly.” she seemed so.. broken, i mean, she’s been broken but this moment really showed that she was way past her breaking point. amy convinced herself way beyond what was reasonable and was swallowed in the darkness that is her obsession with being loved by sonic and sonic himself. especially the animation, it was so disturbing and it creeped me out so much. the animation is amazing and i love the details, the way it unnerves people. good job, can’t wait for part 3!

Honestly I find this tails a bit more scary than Secret Histories. As his intents aren't as easily read as his counterpart, sure what Secret Histories Tails became in the end was scary, but in the end it's a lot more obvious to recognize the threat he poses. When she mentioned not feeling good enough no matter what she did it was never enough hit close to home. So far I am a self taught video editor, mostly the same with graphic design, learned how to software mod my 'New' 3DS to project both screens onto my computer while controlling the system with a PS4 controller via the DS4 program and whatever else when I get bored and somehow can feel the way Amy does sometimes despite everything I mentioned here and more. Even thought about making and selling badass overlays people can use for a good price (like 5 or 10 bucks) at a flat rate and I tend to fear it won't be enough all the time.

Its always the panning past the picture frames that get me, and the bracelet. It makes me think of all of the experiences sonic and amy had together, and the connections sonic had with other people, how many friends he made that would now suffer from loss because of tails. Including amy. Its all so sickening what tails has done to the innocent people of both this and his home universe. He took everything away from them and ruined anything that was good in the name of his own selfishness. This entire episode- no, series. This entire series makes me cry because they do so well establishing relationships n such and how amy gradually descends deeper and deeper into madness. How sonic was also being manipulated by tails, and did like amy, but didnt know how to express it or what it was. Now, amy lost the one person she lived for because she sacrificed so much for him, only for it to end up as tails... being who she sacrificed for, unknowingly. Breaks my heart that she had to suffer, and the look of dismay in sonics eyes right before she hits him just hits deep. While she was psychotic, he trusted her enough to turn his back while he was vulnerable, still not thinking she would do any worse than that, as well as being distracted by his emotions. Also the detail that I haven't seen mentioned is the blood on all of the picture frames when they cut to them. I think this might sorta symbolize that all the previous memories sonic had with amy or anyone... of how happy he was, and how much he enjoyed life...were all been ruined by what she'd done, and she knew this. Which is made worse by the fact that he'd never be able to experience anything similar to these ever again. Amy basically changed her life from then on, and she could never go back to the good one she'd been living that she never appreciated until now.

The specific line here that breaks me every time was when Amy said that all she wanted was for Sonic to love her.
