Thank you for sharing this lovely video. Venus is getting so big and brave. She climbed the door without any hesitation, she's getting to be very adventuress. It's lovely to see Effie keeping a loving watchful eye on her. It's not going to be too long before this precious little princess is causing all kinds of chaos for her family. Is Mjukuu still hiding baby Juno? we never really get to see her. 💖💖🦍

@Neptunes, I've been editing a video of Mjukuu and Juno today. It's been quite complex, trying to cut out the worst bits of my inability to hold a camera still, and adding some graphics and other fancy things. I have to try to balance adding graphics, removing terrible filming without ruining the whole video. I used to just publish what footage I have including my inability to hold the camera still but I hated the criticism so I try to make them better. It's a cute video of a frustrated toddler with a helicopter mother! Mjukuu also tends to sit far from the glass and so the picture is grainy which I don't like. I'm saving for a better camera. Hope to release it tomorrow. Its now 3:30am, and hoping to go to the zoo in the morning so I'd better go to sleep! Thanks for watching 😊

@denisemorris, thank you for watching. Indeed Venus had bags of energy and was being very bold. Alika and/or Gernot were like little highway men and were constantly jumping out of nowhere to grab Venus for themselves, and yet she seemed unfazed. Our beautiful girl 😊

How’s M’Jukuu and Juno?

@shawna, thank you for watching and I completely understand your concerns about Juno. Mjukuu is the ultimate helicopter parent, and you will see evidence of this very soon. I have been editing a 'Juno and Mjukuu' video. It a complex one with some very dodgy filming (I mean I seemed unable to hold the camera still for a second) so I've been trying to remove the worst of it, plus adding some dialog, so it has taken me a while. Its nearly ready, but I get really nervous before I publish them and check and re check constantly. I have learned so much about editing since August but I'm still slow and often lose the work I've done and take an hour to find it, all those frustrating things make me quite slow. Anyway I hope I will release it today or this evening. Have a great week and please take care 😊

Did Effie climb up to retrieve her?

@patriciamorgan, no, she didn't need to. Venus climbed down with no concerns. I did video it but my camera work was sloppy and all over the place so I edited it out. There was nothing to worry about though. She was passing the time while they waited for the keepers who were outside putting out the enrichment things. As Venus climbed down, Effie reached up and carried her down and they moved closer to the rest of the group. I can edit it back in if people want to see it. Thank ypu for watching.

@@Ape_Appreciation I just wondered because it looked like she was fine, but then Effie was carrying her. I know sometimes the moms get nervous.

​@@patriciamorgan8359yes I took out a tiny bit of her imb down. I think what happened was one of the 'teens' (I still can't tell them apart) lunged forward to grab Venus off the gate but Effie was having non of it! The older two were on form. They kept suddenly jumping out of nowhere to grab the baby but Alika only got her briefly on this day, I published the footage last week, before a cross Effie took her baby back! Have a great day.
