I love how Eric always takes care of Mom and you see his respect and sincerity, genuinely altruistic appreciation. Fransisco is a rock, always dependable just like Bugs. Tino too, always there. Poor Darryl, always digging himself a hole over and over again, I just pray he rises up, honors and takes better care of himself. When he does that, whatever burdens are plaguing him will be resolved, our Father and his son always show us the path. Also, Ryan, I pray concrete will continuously flow abundantly for you all through the fall and into the next season. My own opinion about people being late is primarily the reason why I refuse to do anyone else's work until they arrive. I am a person that is usually never late for anything. So when I have to pick up someone else's slack it makes things more difficult for me until they finally get to work.

I am always at least 20 minutes early to work everyday. My foreman will always call me to say he is late and tells me what to get started on (as if I don’t already know). After it was happening for months on end I just started slacking off til he arrived because I seen his time sheets and he always put down for being on time even though it would be close to an hour late, daily. ~6:30 - Im no psychologist but I believe it really comes down to simply a lack of motivation. Someone could love their job (truly) and work good/hard for you, but then be late all the time because it's that morning "habit" or "routine" that isn't built strong. There are some times I either accidentally or intentionally sleep in late and I instantly feel like a massive POS. I just posted a comment saying the same thing. I hate having to point my finger at Ryan but he’s allowing this. He needs to just put his foot down. Remember a few weeks before he left on his week vacation? He told EVERYONE any no call no shows, he was going to fire them and there would be no bonus?? Haha well apparently that worked! But he shouldn’t have to give them a flipping BONUS just to go work work! Heck in that case, my boss ows me A LOT of money! 😂😂. But seriously, Ryan is such a good guy and I wish he gets a break soon.

The problem is, it’s hard to find good employees. Once you have a crew, you allow them to get away with things because it’s tiring hiring new people and then they quit after 2-3 days.

@@sadietp2362 its a catch 22. Being nice like ryan is good, and bad. He can retain employees and keep good relationships with the community and people. But peopl ewill 100% take advantage.

@Sadietp your absolutely right! I actually forgot to mention that in my comment. That I know it’s hard for some employers to find guys in general. So he’s just gotta deal with it. Even though it’s not fair for him.

Making workers spend their money on getting to work for the week and be broke by weekend family time. Pretty messed up way to make sure ur guys show up to make the owner rich.
@highkicker112 жыл бұрын
@@johnperez93640 dude if they cant handle getting paid first of the week then they wont be able to handle keeping a job in the first place. also stop with that socialist talk about making the owner rich. the owner put up a boatload of cash to start the company and keeps having to put in cash to keep it running and improve working conditions for his self and his workers. if you are like bezo's yeah sure those are bad people but small bizz like victory don't get rich off the company they started. maybe when they retire they have a nice retirement but rich nope.

Incredible. That was a ton of labour on that job but man, it came out great! Wonder if you could use jade for 'Jade Inspections' just like Andrew Camarotta and his 'Lab Inspections' lol! Kinda disappointing that the crew didn't show up to support their brethren at the wedding. Shows how much disrespect they have for eachother. Darryl... I have no words. God bless the man though.

Love you Ryan and your Crew! You have some good guys working for you and you make them better every single day. I will say this... In business you should never have a friend working for you. My opinion. Darryl seems to be taking advantage of your friendship. He often puts you in a bind - Big time ! He does it over and over. I can see that you love him but he is not showing good character. He should be working harder than anyone on your crew but he seems to be the biggest F**k up ! I wonder what effect that has on your other loyal workers watching Darryl F**k up over and over while they have to pick up the slack. ?? You are a great BOSS and exceptional MAN ! LOVE you and will continue to support you always !!

Being able to get up for work in the morning is a blessing, I wake up at 3 am everyday and I arrive at my job site 30 minute before start time (5am) I would never take work for granted is what keeps food in the table, that being said being late is a big no for me.

Man, i don't know how you can handle Daryl and him not showing up. That would go right through me. He would have been unemployed a long time ago, but you have God in you more than I do i guess. A grown man that can't show up for work doesn't deserve a good job. I wish him the best in life, but if you never do anything about it he will never change.
