My family and I have a concrete business in Colorado. The hardest part about the concrete shortage is telling the guys we can’t get mud for the day. Then trying to find other ways to keep giving them hours. It’s starting to look better here hopefully it does in your neck of the woods as well. Love the videos keep up the great work victory!

I would be a nervous wreck right now. I just think it's unbelievable myself being in the construction business how you can't get anything. Or how prices have doubled or even tripled. Last year I was paying $90 a box for aluminum coil. Right now that same box of aluminum coil is $180. We have so much work. But the problem is I can't get the material I need to finish jobs it's just sad. Good luck Ryan finding concrete that's your livelihood.

In Tucson Arizona we have had a cement shortage since December of last year, we were supposed to line a 6,000 meter wash on a new housing development woth soil cement but due to the shortage we had to push it back almost a year. Unfortunately because of the monsoons this summer the slopes and grade were washed away, we are regrading it right now so we can line it with the soil cement in 3 weeks. Hopefully everything goes smoothly

We have a concrete problem here also in Indiana because of the cement problem also. My boss is #1 on the list for getting concrete besides the union work for like highways etc. Since they are more of a priority.... Some people got cancelled or can't get it at all were lucky for sure. Hopefully this problem is fixed soon but with the rate of building supply is running low for sure

Stay strong this’ll just be a passing thing. Over here in the UK we had the same thing. One of the big cement manufacturers had a plant fire and another had problems and was at half capacity. We struggled to get concrete or any products with cement in it ( blocks, etc ) for almost a month. Not to mention at the end of covid when we couldn’t get plaster, drywall, certain timbers but we made it through and alls good. Now all we need to worry about economic collapse. 😂😂 😂😂😢😢

Some might be wondering why you set a couple pins on top of the bull float. Needed the extra weight to work. Got in a bind once and had to use 2 boxes of nails. Free leftovers 1/4 mile from the batch plant. Returning trucks giving me anything they had rather than dumping it at the plant. Some of it was already setting up. Full sun in the summer you have to think fast. Turned out just fine.

Ditch the steel pins for bull float weights and get 4 pieces of thick wall 2" square tubing. Fits in the grooves perfect and 4 is a lot of weight for when it's hard. I know you don't like the bull float and broom style but you can get a real fine broom with a lot of weight if you lay the edges down right and have a little finesse with the poles

I just started driving the pneumatic tankers that deliver the powder mix to ready mix plants. 3 months in and I'm already transitioned to dump trailer for my company because there just isn't enough work for us in New England. We've run out a couple times now and it doesn't look like it's getting any better till we'll into next year. All of ours comes in on barges from NY. And a few times we've got it from Greece or turkey

I believe a certain number of shorts are required or strongly suggested by KZbin. I think Ryan is busy enough filming, editing, pouring concrete and scheduling without having to make a quota of shorts.
