I am not comparing him to vidic, but strahinja pavlovic seems like he is cut from the same cloth certainly, I mean there is still hope. That kid when he came to the world cup he was so visibly confused and out of place and yet delivered each performance with so much heart and passion, scored a goal as well. While you could see Nikola and Milos struggling to cover for their wing back, zivkovic, Pavlovic was so enormous and gigantic at the back you could see him everywhere. This back 3 with no real CDMs and wing backs who are actually wingers leave the Serbian back 3 very vulnerable but I was impressed how pavlovic tackled that challenge. He is a top top talent in my books and if there is right kind of atmosphere around him we will see a true fighter of a Cb in the future. I hope in Euros Serbia dont leave their back 3 so helpless. It is so heartbreaking to watch them play without any defensive solidity whatsoever, although they have great talent.

Coaching staff, physio, set-piece coaches, and all other staff have tactics like it's 1990s, and this is just scratching the surface, we probably sell games practice blackmail and who knows what else goes on there...

Obsessively watched premier league in the late 2000s and early 2010s, and as a united fan, Vidic was my hero. If there was an attack, Vidic was there to save us. Reliable, tough as nails, defended like his life depended on it. Sometimes what you need from a defend is them putting their heart and soul into stopping the opponent.

The point of this story is not Vidic; check the part of the interview when, after his training sessions, he could not find any other teammates who were doing extra training to improve what they needed in the game, to be better to be top class. And most important is that whole group was like that, and they have respect for the club, to the staff, and to the game, so each time in that environment, when a new player comes, he needs to adopt that mentality or it will fail.
