There are no signs in the books that dragons form bonds with their offspring or relatives. Most of the warring dragons are either children of Meraxes or Vhagar and the younger ones being Dreamfyre’s Syrax’s or Silverwing’s. All are somewhat related or have known each other since birth. The dragons do have a strong magical bond with their rider, especially when the bond is strengthened with time. We see Syrah feels Rhaenyra’s pain, stress, sadness, or anger. Ceraxes feel Daemons pain. Drogon felt Daenery’s sadness, pain, fear, and death. Arrax felt Luke’s fear and stress. Vhagar felt Aemond anger and Laena’s demise. Meleys felt Rhaenys’ annoyance and anger. This may all be because like wargs of the first men, Targaryen’s and their dragons give and trade parts of themselves. We probably shouldn’t give mammal characteristics to the beast, they lay eggs that grow independent hatchlings that they never watch, feed, protect, or raise. Animals like this rarely have maternal characteristics after the egg hatches

"We knew Aemond wasnt going to die here"... that is exactly why they didnt show Daemon's response. It would have been a spoiler and less shocking. Instead we are all thinking Aemond is about to mess these two guys up and not considering other outcomes. So when they do kill the boy it is surprising and shocking and we dont have time to process. Keep in mind this was a one shot attempt, if they didnt kill Aemond and just left, what would be the point at all? Someone had to die. Aemond could have been in the next town for all they know, they havent been spying on him to know where he was at. One chance, one shot, try to kill Aemond but if you can't get him, well, a son for a son.

The beginning in Winterfell, we see a look into the past of Torrhen Stark, and how he began the tradition on men being picked by chance to man the Wall. They didn’t enact sending prisoners/criminals yet. Before, men of the northern houses would pick stones from a satchel like they showed us, if you pick a black stone your sent to the Wall. The young man with Jace is Cregan Stark, current Lord of Winterfell, who’s telling us the story of it all. Crazy how 172 years later, it’s made to be a death sentence. The Sharks and people of the north believed in the evil and magic beyond the wall (White Walkers, the Children, etc.), therefore they did not see it as a sentence but an honor. In GRRM lore, Cregan and Jace ended up being good friends, since Cregan could relate to losing a brother.

They watered it down lol Daemon purposefully sends Blood and Cheese to Helaena’s quarters, and after being asked to pick which child to kill, they threaten to assault her daughter. Whilst crying, she points to her youngest son Maelor,they cut the oldest son's head leaving Maelor alive,they whisper to him that his mom wanted him dead. Also Cole should have been guarding their room. Why do people hate Rhaenyra? What is the reason behind the hate?

Yall must have missed that the guy with the dog was a Royal rat catcher in charge of catching the rats in the Red Keep, and uses the dog to flush them out and catch. Then they had her choose which boy they would kill. She chose Maelor because he was not the heir. They decided to kill Jacaerys to specifically have Maelor and Helaena live with the knowledge that his mother sentenced him to die.

Ok now look at it from Rhaenyra's perspective. Her son was sent as a messenger not to start provocation and is killed by hers enemies son (on accident). Alyson Hightower when her eldest Aemond got his eye gauged, she quickly called for Rhaenyra's childs eye as payback (an eye for an eye literally). This is the last memorie Rhaenyra has of Alyson regarding the same dead child. But when Alysons son ends up killing one of her children she doesn't hold the same regard (a son for a son) and quickly tries apologize for her son's actions on her behalf rather than her son being the one to apologies. If any person should apologies is Aemond not Alyson. Aemond does show a level of guilt but the way he goes about it is by trying to avoid responsibility of his action and having his parent clean up for his mess.

Aemond doesn't act like he killed Luce by accident though, just like Daemon didn't claim innocence whenever Viserys accused him of something. The fact that in the moment he didn't want to kill Luce is as irrelevant as the fact Daemon didn't fuck Rhaenyra in the brothel. The circumstance is so incriminating that pleading innocence is pointless. They both embrace the bad-boy persona even when they haven't (completely) earned it.

Regarding Criston's honor; In ss1, he's a bit green to the politics and royal court, he thought everyone holds to their rules and laws like a gospel, but after years you started to be familiar with how things really are, and just like everyone else you begin playing the game too He's a soldier by trait, and lose his honor already at this point, the only thing left to lose is his life and he's already made peace with that fact. It can be said that while Criston chose to diminished himself when he fucked Rhaenyra, a younger girl who was also a princess, I think he wouldn't cross that line so easily if the princess herself didn't invited him with her legs opened. Let's say Rhaenyra kept the boundaries cleared, by not seducing him and keep the relationship purely professional, Criston would have stayed a sexless knight sworn to be her shield. but when you fucked with someone, in most cases outside of the firm believers of hook-up culture perspective, physical intimacy induced attraction and a sense of possession; you let someone take something from you while also gaining something from them. It might be just a horny happenstance for Rhaenyra who just wanted a casual hook-up who's hot enough but someone like Criston might wanted something more committal, which is understandable to an extend; she's a princess, the Realm's Delight(as propagandized heavily by the royal court) having her to himself is a fantasy that when shattered it turned him salty and bitter, understandably. Many viewed this through the lens of our modern understanding or conviction about sex between two people, but when you sit back and look at it according to the world they set in, it's like she's playing with him. Again, he's done with honor and all that at this point, and when someone as...desirable as Alicent offered it up, who would decline? man's already got past suicide, he got nothing to lose.

Once in the kingsguard he became celibate and never gave any suggestions of abusing his position. The situation changed when the Princess seduced him. He should've refused her by honor but if she took it as a slight, she could've simply disposed of him, and that would mean death.
