Just one thing to keep in mind is that many people got confused here thinking Isagi would be the “missing piece” of the team and “connect” both Rin and Shidou to help out the team win. However, that’s a misconception because what the anime is really trying to portray here is that, Isagi, found a hole in the team that he can take advantage of, and so try to score his goal through that weakness that Rin and Shidou create when they play together. Therefore achieving what Ego wants them to do, “assertion” and “coexisting” within the team. After all, in blue lock they need to be egoists and think for yourself, rather than playing as a team.

I like how Blue Lock had so many incredible players we never got to see in action in season 1. I would love to see a spin off of this series from the perspective of the other characters especially the 4/6 top 6 players we never saw in action before.

It’s a lot like a motion or animated comic, where only certain things move or are animated at a time. However, despite everyone making fun of it, I haven’t heard anyone saying that they plan on dropping it, unlike another anime I know of in this season. Either the story still has everyone engaged, or we all know that the good stuff is coming later

Well on the bright side the animation being bad is the ONLY downside. Everything else looks great The drawings and line art is really good along with their use of colors Voice acting is great The plot is great It’s just a shame that’s what everyone will notice first is the animation and it’s definitely the most important

Because not everything is about animation, if a story is entertaining it can still be exciting. Oshi no ko for example is very beautiful but for me personally I am more moved by blue lock. It's sad because BL deserved much more but it is what it is.
