As a manga reader, I will say that the anime writers have changed several lines of characters 😮‍💨 Chigiri and Nagi were the ones who were most worried about Kunigami and Reo. Isagi was worried in his thoughts (but in the anime he was given Chigiri's lines. Chigiri was not having fun with Wanima - brother crocodile). The phrase that Reo said in the anime, he didn't say in the manga. He just didn't say anything, because he was saddened, angry at himself for his weakness (?). And in general, this phrase, but in a slightly different form, was said by Chigiri. But much later, he tried to show that he wasn't worried that Kunigami wasn't with them. Due to the fact that the writers changed the phrases, many people who are only familiar with anime disliked Reo even more (one of the best kids of the whole series). And I'm glad that you girls reacted to what is happening with understanding 💕 As always it was fun watching your reactions. I just want to say that when Isagi asked Reo about where Kunigami was, in manga Reo did not say that Kunigami wasn't tho kind of person who could become the best striker in the world, Reo is not the kind of person to say that. The animation was changed like that and shocked many people. (At least fans from my country are almost scared.) And sorry I am not a native English speaker, so I am using a translator. So I haven't seen the manga, so hold out a small hope that maybe the guy who is injured is too injured to play, and Kunigami ends up in a special group to decide his replacement, and comes through. Unfortunately, the injured guy's hair screams "I've been drawn with enough detail that I'm going to be around a few episodes". Or once they end Blue Lock, they do a red lock to find the best midfielder and he gets invited to that. Also, I love the fact that Ego managed to get a match with the U20 team with just enough people that if all the teams get eliminated except one, and they take the best player for each opponent like they did before, they have exactly 11 players (the OG team of 5 plus 1 from each of the other 6 teams). Almost like he predicted it all along.

Connie got carried by Shidou (the antenna guy), he singlehandedly DESTROY Reo and Kunigami. It's not that Connie doesn't choose Kunigami, but he just has no power to object Shidou. Shidou feel Kunigami didn't do enough to EXCITE him and rather pick Reo, maybe because he is All-Round and also more of a passer. Telling you sth, Kuni is too popular and he will make it back in the story in some capacity.

Thats a wierd thing to say , they are both about soccer but the way this show turns it on its head and has u embrace the egotistical side of things and how the hype was built off of that is something that other show just doesnt do. @@maxrusty3596 I’m a soccer fan through and through so I like how young players go from youth teams to the senior team and learning from that experience. You always hear about a kid in his teens, not even old enough for a learners permit or a license, breakout into a senior team and become a starter in the big leagues. A good example is Lamine Yamal, the kid is 16 starting for Barcelona and even the champions league and better yet on the senior national team for Spain. So Aoashi starting from the bottom ranks is more grounded in reality that way in comparison to a blue lock where if they do good in a competition they get to play for Japan. It’s more streamlined for them and I don’t really like that, but great storytelling nonetheless.
