Ya know, I always think these stories are real until the very end when they read off, 'We learned an important lesson in' or 'The lessons we learned along the way'. I instantly know it's AI Generated.

some are.. depends on what and where. not this one but 2 I determined were real was the beauty queen stalker. that was in the canadian news.. the story on youtube was detailed what that crazy with did. the second, was an HOA debacle that was nuclear revenge, bordering on black hole save that no one perished. I did a little searching and found a link to a story where the details matched. some of them are true. but I agree, most of them are just fan fiction and have to be taken with a grain of salt. however, the stories involving narcissists might be true. they act like narcissists.

I never understood why people want property values to go up. It just makes the tax assessment go up and you need more money to pay for the same house.

Makes them able to take bigger loans and sell for more if they decide to, but yeah, it dosen't outweigh the taxes related to it.

You're right it does make taxes go up however raising property values also makes your property more valuable. Let's say you buy a dilapidated house for around $60,000, fix it up real good, then the property values in your neighborhood skyrocket, and suddenly the house you spent $60,000 to buy and another $20,000 to fix is now worth 450,000 close to half a million

Right?!? Every time some idiot says “Did you see what the house 2 blocks over sold for? Great for our property values!” I want to scream, “higher property taxes BAD!” Idiots 😂😂😂

It’s mostly for roi. On paper my home has increased from $280k to $630k, the assessed tax value after different deductions before was only taxing at 130k I believe. The new amount I’m paying taxes on is only around 280k. From what I’ve experienced you don’t bay taxes on the full market value of a home and there’s other exemptions you can file to bring the tax amount down. Then on top of that when filing taxes, the interest you pay on your mortgage can be applied to lower your taxable income but not be used as a credit to get money back. Our yearly property tax went from around 2k to around 3k annually. The amount in write of is around 17k annually in interest. I always tell people to go visit your local bank/credit union and have a sit down that you want to know more about what steps to take in buying a home, chances are you will qualify. If you make 50k a year and don’t pay $1000 a month in car loans and have maxed out credit cards, you 100% will be approved for around 200k. There are plenty of 3/2 houses around 1700sqft for that price range and in 3 years you sell it and cash in on tax free equity. I’m speaking from experience doing this 3 times now. Got my first home at 22 making 13 an hour in 2016. 3 years later sold it for a $50k profit, cash in pocket after the sale. Was laughed out of the bank 8 months prior on the first visit but I got rid of my auto loan and payed off my cc then went back and got approved.

Don't feel guilty at all it was Karen's own ego that made her take her own life. She literally could not stand the repercussions of her own actions, her ego letter to those actions, therefore she took the coward's way out instead of facing justice

The ops manager at the blue home improvement store that tried to pick a fight with me and fored me for gross insubordination when I told him to back off, turned out to be embezzling that same box store for a LOT of cash. Corporate refused to do anything about me. They aid I was unjustly fired, but they couldn't do anything about it.
