Some of y'all getting on Tamera's example of bad memories. But when you're a kid and you get bullied and other kids don't like you that really sticks through life. Always questioning why kids don't like and what you can change about yourself, and can even transfer to adulthood. Your peers can really tarnish your self esteem at a young age.
@jaybell18927 жыл бұрын
And sometimes they have to have less severe examples so the show won't be so heavy, they said it before they want the show to have some lightness to it. They want all kinds of people to relate in some way.

Jay Bell Agreed! Childhood is the start of insecurities so yes, although some people don't think bullying is a sever case but who knows if Tia or Tamera were anxious or self conscious going to events, school, or walking in hallways when people are being mean for no reason. Whether it makes you stronger to stand up for yourself, it changes the innocence of childhood.

Ya'll need to realize something. Just because you think what you've been through is worse than what someone else has been through doesn't mean that that person isn't hurting just as much as you are. Even after we were settled after we fled tbe war, we dealt with violence and police protection, even a car accident. My childhood life is like a movie to be honest. @richellegiles66817 жыл бұрын
I never comment but a lot of people are saying that Tamera's memory is dumb but people are brought up with different circumstances. Just because some people are brought up poor, or with parental issues doesn't make the next person's issue invalid. Everyone has their own struggles they have to get through.
@ThePltsweet7 жыл бұрын
Just because you can't relate to someone's pain doesn't mean it isn't there. Though there are those we call first world problems, Tamera's may not have grown up poor so she can't relate to poverty but her childhood woes relate to many people because it's BULLYING. Unless you've been bullied or teased about something then you wouldn't understand.
@em59587 жыл бұрын
I can relate to Tamera because I was bullied too. In elementary and high school. High school hurt more because I was old enough to understand. As a kid you kinda brush it off but the older you get the more you understand the more people become mean. That's why I'm so glad 13 reasons why is out because it shows how much words can affect someone mentally.
@lisabradford81802 жыл бұрын
i was bullied also but my experiences actually got better by high school, opposite of what you experienced. grade and middle school were the worst for me. if i could erase all of it i most likely would😢
@joannaherodotou14917 жыл бұрын
Tamera seems to have had a very stable family life with two loving parents who provided the family well, it seems like she had a very happy and privileged life, compared to Adrienne and Jeannie whom both come from divorced homes and had to deal with many financial struggles. Loni, also had it hard with her mother struggling to provide for her, but no mention of her father. I really felt for Loni when she mentioned having no food to eat, that is the worst feeling for a parent to be unable to feed their children or to worry about having food for them. I would have to say that Loni has been the most successful of them all from nothing to working hard to educate herself and become an engineer and now someone famous, now that's success!
@alyssiadeere44163 жыл бұрын
It doesn't matter who had it "worse" that shouldn't invalidate Tamera's experience moving to a different place and having a whole new environment can be a bit much. Some people out here are more fortunate to not have gone through "worst" experiences. I mean why would you want someone to go through the same bad hardships as the person beside you? Have you heard the saying "I'm glad it was me than you" or "I hope you don't ever have to go through that I went through" why do people get mad when other's don't have it as bad or think trauma has to be held at a high standard.🤦🏾♀️

Because if it weren't for the bad memories, I wouldn't be who I am today. I also wouldn't have experienced God's love and healing in my life. In addition, I wouldn't appreciate life, family, friends. I also wouldn't have the compassion and love for others. #Godsnotdead #Hegetsalltheglory

Trump is Daddy She didn't list the events in the order that they happened. She might have already had those things, but they strengthened after her bad experiences. Some people are just self-centered, in fact, most teenagers are until they grow up and realize the world doesn't revolve around them.
@Lalala-fz2ci7 жыл бұрын
gigglyfitzgirl of course but we're not taking about teenagers, she looks like a grown woman to me. It basically sounds like people around her have to die or go through tragic events in order for her to feel empathy/sympathy. Like the world does not revolve around her and terrible things don't happen to people just so somebody else around them can finally understand! That's not the way life works.

I think when you become an adult it's important to have perspective and an understanding of how life works for people beyond yourself and your immediate family. I realize I've lived a very nice life (upper middle class upbringing, mom's a doctor, dad's an engineer) and yes I've been sad and had frustrations, but I know I have never faced adversity. True adversity is homelessness, rape, incest, abuse, struggling to afford necessities (food, shelter), jail, drugs, etc. If I was having a conversation with people and they were talking about dealing with rape or homelessness I wouldn't then pipe up about how I felt bad because kids made fun of me for having nice things or how I was sad because I didn't make the varsity volleyball team junior year. It just doesn't sound right! But everyone is different I guess.

I always see Loni as a funny and strong and brave woman but when she starts to open up and being emotional, I just feel sad for a moment thinking about what she and her mother has been going through and you deserve every thing that you have now in your life Loni. So, you should be proud of your self.

Something called EMDR helped me to proces trauma, for the things that you really don't want to remember all the time. I remember what happened, but it doesn't make me so anxious anymore. I can be at peace with what happened.

You can always hear it in Loni's voice right before she about to cry lol

One mistake or one event doesnt define you..not all of you. All of your actions, words, the good with the some of that bad define you. Don't let ppl label you for one thing you might have done wrong! Or at the least don't let it get to you :)

I love how Tam took the direction of the conversation to someone else instead of herself. thinking about the vets❤❤

I feel like Tamaras really got a handle on her emotions this season. Probably passed the touch to tough loni.

I would delete the memory of middle school. I was suicidal and had anxiety at such a young age because of the trauma. Then again I don’t know if I would’ve deleted them. They made me stronger today and the person who I am. Basically it taught me that words don’t define me anymore.

There are quite a few memories I definitely would love to erase, however no matter my issues/problems God is with me.

I love all of these ladies so much! I think i have bits and pieces of all of their personalities in me. What i have similar to Loni is that I'm a comedian and love making people laugh and always putting others before myself, what i have from Jeannie is that I'm extremely honest and straightforward and i love to love and try to be there for people the best way i can, what i have from Adrienne is that I'm a very real, feisty, and loyal Hispanic girl, what i have from Tamera is that I'm relatively innocent and charming and I'm also a good girl, sensitive with a caring big heart and a Christian. I think i have mostly Tamera's traits though. Love all of these christian women ❤ ❤

I feel like every thing I did or happened in my life made me see life in a different way. it helps me connect with people because we have all been through it. my mistakes make me human. it makes me stronger. I would not wanna loose it.

Tamera is so sweet. She loves Loni and saw how upset she was so she tried to bring her mind elsewhere when Tamera mentioned her own struggle.

"When we first moved to LA as actresses .. kids hated us" Tamera.. Girl... I'm not trying to make it seem like that isn't a "problem" but compared to the real, tough situations people go through from a very young age, I can assure you having an acting career and the opportunities you had as a little kid were not problems and didn't affect you in any real way. Just saying.

I think it's fair for her to not want to put her family's business out there in detail. She may be willing to share, but they may be more private.

Marysol Cerv Tamera cant relate to this topic. she was an army brat they make money every month army parents get a check its not like they starved or anything. everyones else except her grew up poor.

You think it's easy to be an Actor or Actress? Do you know the struggle she and her sister been through just to get there? At a young age kids envy both of them so i can relate on how she feels.
