What happens when you fall for the charm and wit of a toxic man? One article suggests that many women are addicted to chaos and drama, so of course we had to weigh in.

Nope not me. I can't stand a man that's toxic and unstable. I prefer the low-key and chill dudes, I like men who I am comfortable around. If I have to walk on eggshells everytime I am around you then it's a wrap. My mental health comes first 💯

I believe some of us are carrying out generational curses without realizing it. We have wounds that have been energetically past down & unfortunately history repeats itself. Having it together in one area of your life means nothing if there is still energy within that is not healed. You will still be subject to these toxic scenarios playing out in your life. I think everything stems from self love or lack there of. But one thing about it we all have a breaking point.

I grew up having girlfriends that were so addicted to drama in their relationships. I never understood it. I think ppl mimic the relationships they see sometimes and alot of us saw disfunctional relationships. Also low self-esteem has alot to do with it. you may see arguing etc as love. Breaking up to make up.

Can we really talk about toxic if women are addicted to that kind of men who make them suffer ? As a man i know which kind of woman is toxic for me. Something toxic is something u don't accept, accept yourself and what you want before to say other people are toxic, sometimes ur own desire is toxic ;)

I think in some cases this is the instance where the ideology of “ Good Girls Love Bad Boys” should be something in the past cuz if you like a dude that isn’t like 100% himself and tries to keep up the facade of being this dude with thuggish ruggish bone in his blood and swag... it’s like how long til that gets boring ?! Like there are some men that truly want to treat a lady the way they should be treated with love , respect , kindness , vulnerability and hell even caters to her love languages without making her feel like it’s corny or “ not my thing “ like stop with that “ I want u to be mine but I ain’t really gonna do anything to show u mean a lot to me “ bs ! Like Adrienne literally had a guy that showed no PDA and thought he was too cool to do so... didn’t even allow her a key to his parent til she ASKED ! Like that too cool for school stuff getting old... cut the games ! Stop the toxicity ! And end the foolishness

Can Adrienne stop bringing up how toxic sex is the best sex? Like that justifies having a toxic relationship? If you are having sex with a toxic person, their toxic behaviour isn't justifiable and it's still not right. There's also toxic people that sexual abuse their partners and thats never okay.
@Simplelivingslowliving3 жыл бұрын
I was that girl that wanted to save the guy and would hold on to the toxic relationship when he said sorry for his verbal, emotional and physical abuse. I was that girl who also was sexually abused by my then boyfriend. I'm grateful to have left that relationship and the toxic sex was definitely NOT Worth it. I left alive, broken, hurt ; I took a year to myself and was able to heal. He was the worst person to ever come into my life but the experience was my greatest lesson.

I think we all went through that phase of wanting a 'Bad Guy' I know I did when I was around 25, thinking that I will be The one who will change him or make him stay. And I didn't realize what came with wanting a bad guy like the cheating, the disrespect etc. The toxic relationships to me come from a low self-esteem thinking you don't deserve beter. Ones you start loving yourself that's when you start wanting a good man.

For example Adrienne you have a good Christian man now but one wrong move you would have stayed in that dysfunctional relationship with "R" and been dealing with some of those very issues.
