I'm divided on the first topic. It's great to have someone like Jeannie who stayed optimistic about her experience however, if someone came to me constantly complaining, crying, etc about how horrible their partner is, or how complicated it is, etc why would I say "yes girl, fight it out. Make him happy... hang in there" instead of "get counseling, if it doesn't work out your issues consider divorce if it seems like the best healthy path".?? I wouldn't project my fears onto them, I would LOGICALLY give my opinion & advice IF YOU'RE ASKING FOR HONESTY. If you want me to lie, then sure I'll tell you what you wanna hear but I would rather SAVE A FRIEND from a toxic situation exhausting them rather than allowing them to stay unhappy, unfulfilled and abused/ disrespected (such as cheating, etc).

Personally, I find it therapeutic to do dishes. I am also Monica from Friends: total control freak about it. However, my relationship with hubby is not shaken from that. We love to have sex whenever we can. Granted, I did ask him to step up in other chores; and he did, which is probably what is important that he does not expect me to do everything❤😊
