The first mystery item is conduit! The outer insulation protects the cables it's wrapped around, and keeps them bundled together. It's definitely recyclable if you've got the right machine to shred it and pull out the copper. And there looks to be quite a bit in there. Stick that on the side, it's likely worth something! You could shred the cardboard and turn it into compost, though. You'd have to find a way to get the tape out, but the rest would rot down just fine. Worms love rotten cardboard.

The stuff on the black spools is Coaxial cable (trunk and feeder) for cable TV. The sticky stuff in the cable is called flooding compound, which is intended to leak out and keep the aluminum protected if the outer jacket gets damaged. Too bad you cant run some incinerators for the wood and such, but im sure that would be too costly. Thanks for the video!

your site is ideal for future mining of resources "remediation "as it does not include "decomposing garbage" ,like a regular land fill , so way less toxic compared too demo waste decomposition on future miners too deal with , as long as you can avoid any of the asbestos that get buried , maybe set aside a special local for the buried asbestos and not buried in the general waste , too improve future remediation of the site too extend the over all life too the site , the base of the new pit is great if all the whole base gets covered filled asbestos maybe a thick white sand layer to mark the cover of the asbestos then trash on top , you know not too go beyond the top cover white sand layer when future mining could take place so as not too disturb the asbestos layer base , thus then can be refilled above that white cover base layer keeping the asbestos in tombed and reclaiming the recycling and back filling the non recyclables , that would be in a perfect world ,but hey why not strive for perfection or as close as possible and become the industry leaders 🤓

The problem is the profits aren't there at the levels companies want if the product lasts a long time. I just replaced the electric wood chipper I had, the switch went bad. At the same time the motor was starting to go and there were other issues creeping up. The price of the switch was 30 dollars and the motor was 80. For that price it doesn't make financial sense to repair it. Love the content, I just wish there were more companies like yours.

You’re right if big companies would help with cost of recycling the waste they deposit into your landfill then you could do like you said recycle more of the waste they’re putting on the landfill so you could build your recycling systems that would help you and cover cost of paying workers who could use a job and help the landfill and the planet become more productive recycling like some other countries have invested into their recycling ♻️ infrastructure and in the USA 🇺🇸 we do waste a lot of stuff but i think you’re doing a hell of job talking about what could be and really should be done 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
