Spectacular! You know, it's more than just listening to her sing a song for us. It's like a special event. That's why we can watch this performance 100+ times and sit in our chair and can't wait for the music to start. We can't say enough about her voice but when we include who she is as a wonderful young person, I mean, forget it! I know this may sound crazy but I bet there are some people out there who are deciding what they will wear when they go to an Angelina live Concert! Love is in the air, isn't it?

You're not the only reactor to rewind to the final crescendo multiple times. 😉 The whole performance is great, on par with famous gigs of the past, but this finale is unique - a great upgrade not found on the critically acclaimed Nina Simone version, nor on Michael Buble. But aside from the ending - everything about it is perfect: not only did the band do a great job, they synchronized seamlessly with Angelina's beautiful vocals, the lighting is top notch (remember that pulsating aura at the beginning), as is the camera work (remember the 360 degree tracking shot around her, along with the "hey" she said to us with her eyes). I just wish we could have seen more of the audience - that's the benefit of the Allsang pa grensen version a few months earlier (and I have to admit I like the finale there a little better - if you can't imagine this being better could be done, check it out, even if it's a second reaction to the same song). If you've seen Nina Simone's official music video for this song, remember the occasion Angelina performed here - it's not just a stage performance, it's part of a live stream (along with other artists) benefitting a Norwegian Charity supporting children.. Finally - I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall of Volvo's boardroom the day this aired. I can imagine their struggles ("OMG hope no one remembers it was me who denied this for our ad" along with "damn why didn't I fight for this more I knew that would have been awesome").

Thank you for another wonderful reaction to Angelina. In my opinion, she is the best singer in the world, and there are thousands of others who would agree with me. Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction. There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed. (1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice. (2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move. (3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus. (4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance. (5) That wonderful crescendo at the end. (6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance (7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand. 4.37(8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 4.37 in your reaction video. (9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!" (10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who,curseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause. Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

Many great singers have recorded this song and Nina Simone's is considered by most to be 'The Gold Standard'. That said, this personal arrangement and vocals applied by Angelina take it to what I would consider 'The Platinum Standard' for the song, and let us not forget she is 10 years old here.
