Outstanding reaction. Your expression as she finished was all the analysis you needed. I've been listening to this song since 1955. Long before the Righteous Brothers covered it in 1965. The song was waiting for this moment and Angelina to come along. Written for a movie where a prisoner is longing for his wife... This is the real deal now. A real tragedy. Angelina is singing for the Nobel laureate who is sitting in an Iranian prison facing a 31 year sentence. A women's rights activist. She hasn't seen her family in 9 years. And, they're sitting there in front of Angelina as she sings... Imagine the emotion... Angelina presents this song softly, delicately and respectfully. It's a different presentation than the one she did last September in Portsmouth. You're so correct in your observation regarding her restraint in the presentation. She could have easily sung the song and the ending with more power. But, she was delivering a message of loss and longing to loved ones who were right there with her. Absolutely the right artist, in the right place for this special moment.

He had such a powerful and beautiful voice that filled the whole auditorium. During the break, he sat down on the edge of the stage and played his guitar, singing Unchained Melody with so much emotion and passion. It was a sublime moment that I shared with my wife, and I felt like we were the only ones in the room. At that time, I thought to myself; how could anyone top that performance, but 56 years later a 17-year-old Angelina Jordan just did. We have to protest if she's not on the Billboard this year (I'm already in 2024😉) She is turning 18 in 10 days from now, and I have been following her since her audition on Norway's Got Talent when she was 7, and I have been saying for quite a few years already that IMO she's the best female singer in the world. If she so wanted, and sold her soul, which she absolutely won't do, she would have been world famous already. We all know that. But she not just another Miley, she is so INCREDIBLY much more. She sang this at least a couple times when she was younger, and she went to the falsetto at the end. I think the earlier version was when she was 8 or 9. Of course, the performances were beautiful and moving. But now the power behind that tone and her ability to sustain the notes is…I don’t know what to say. Spectacular? World class? I don’t know the words except to say that Angelina is the best singer I’ve ever heard. And, moreover, she’s the best singer I’ve ever heard in four or five different genres.

Angelina inspires me to do what I can to help make the world a better place, so I am asking angels and reactors to spread the story of Narges Mohammadi. Angelina was recorded here at the Nobel Peace prize tribute in Oslo Norway, elegantly honoring with song, the brave recipient, with peace and respect. She paid homage to Narges, who is currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two twin children, who are 17, spoke on her behalf at this event. The more people who are aware, and call for change, the more hopeful that the leaders of Iran will set her free. Implementing acts of kindness to others is how Angelina always reminds us to live our lives. We ALL need to honor Angelina by following her lead. She’s sung this song three times during her life, and she hit that note at the end each time. She was 8 or 9 the first time. One of the angels said she was directing this while she was singing, and if you go back and watch all her hand and arm movements, she probably was, especially at the end. The fact that she went falsetto here when most other singers would have belted shows her respect for the occasion, the song, and especially her humility as an artistic genius and performer. Plus, imagine the pressure of singing in front of a live stellar orchestra and on TV in front of millions of viewers. To deliver such a flawless heartwarming performance under such pressure for anyone, no less a teenager, just shows how far and above her musical peers Angelina has risen. She is turning eighteen and is finally legally considered an adult and is able to sign contracts without any parental consent. Yes, it's perfection all the way through, she's fantastic! She held 2 concerts in Las Vegas last month, it would be great if you could react to some of those songs, she's still only getting better. For best audio (and video) I would recommend James Thiel's videos.

Omeezy i would like your opinion on something. Angelina has been under contract with Republic Records for nearly 4 yrs .In her contract they not to promote her until she reached 18 . Since signing she has been seen with some of the biggest names in the music industry and Republic even built her a recording studio. Now in 10 days she will be 18 so what do you think about the chances of a big announcement in next 30 to 60 days ?..
