No need to apologize for singing along. To me, the fact that they write songs that encourage audience participation or you can sing along to, is one of their strongest attributes. 👍😎

As I understand things, they were planning to open for Guns and Roses this weekend. Suddenly they are at MTV's VMA instead. It's a much bigger stage. I can't wait to hear the story. And their performance was amazing. Your singing was not bad. If we want to hear the original performance without comments or your singing, we can always do that, so don't apologize.

I agree about the rocket ship ascension that is about to happen. Sadly, neither one of these full performances were shown to the VMA audience on either the main show or the pre-show. Only here on YT... very unfortunate. MTV knew what they had because these were recorded several days before the TV show, but I'm willing to bet that MTV brass knew it would blow up their show if they were to show actual musicians playing their instruments and singing their original compositions.

I realized the path these girls were on over 7 years ago! When I saw there Tedx 2 for the first time that was my first time hearing anything of theirs that was original and before I knew any other fans I said to myself " these girls are gonna be famous some day and I want to be a part of that!" And look where we are today😊

Thanks for the reaction! Every time they have an important show, whether it be Teatro Metropolitan, Europe, or VMA’S, they always take it to another level!! That is what is called the “it” factor. TW have it in spades!!!🔥⚡️

Any one of them could demand the stage all on their own, but with all 3 together they will be unstoppable. When a relatively unknown band gets stage time at the VMA’s and aren’t nominated for anything, you know they are a gem.

that rocket ship is loaded and sitting on the launch pad. they just need that one break, that one song that breaks out into the top of the charts to get it launched. They're ready, if that happens on their next single they are poised and ready to handle all the media that comes with it. their team is extremely flexible and ready to react to last min changes and set the ladies up for a perfect performance. everything is in place, just needs that spark to light it.

Yes, we are just waiting for that ONE breakthrough song that will help them to explode, but considering that the industry is submerged in a pool of crap it might take a while.

I can´t listen to any of their songs without reacting by either stomping my feet, head bang, sing or move around so there is nothing to apologize for. It´s like you say, they have the ability to engage the audience and they do it at once. They start playing and suck you in to the rabbit hole if your not already there. The first time I ever heard TW was when they played More and I stopped what I was doing not believing my eyes and ears. I had never been sucked in that hard after just 5 seconds of a song, by ant band. Your reactions to TW are very good.

Ya it's weird. I keep expecting one of these massive opportunities they keep getting to really launch their viewership somewhere, but no matter how well they play live, they just aren't getting much of a boost (in KZbin views and Spotify plays, anyways). I've been saying this a lot lately, but I really do think one big thing they need to tweak is getting more of their aggressive wall of live sound into their studio albums. I think they'd get more plays if their recorded music matched the intensity and heaviness of their live music (especially the guitar, but also the bass and even Dany's more raspy, rock vocals). The other big thing is I just don't know if an up-and-coming rock band can generate viral views in this current musical climate. You'd think them having all the x factors along with writing catchy songs, having interesting lyrics, having great live performances, etc. would at least get them more viewership than modern metal bands, but I listen to several relatively niche metal bands that still have higher monthly Spotify plays and higher KZbin views than this band gets. And that's despite this band's sound being much more mainstream/radio-friendly. It just seems strange. Example: Future Palace is a German three piece that's more metal than The Warning, but write catchy choruses and are kind of like if Paramore adopted some metalcore elements. They've only been a band for a couple years, haven't really refined their live performances yet, and while the lead vocalist is also super friendly and good in interviews, the band lacks several of the X factors that The Warning has. Despite all of that, Future Palace is up to around 370k Spotify monthly plays and The Warning is at 540k. So The Warning is still higher, but you'd think playing a more mainstream style of music, and being a band for significantly longer would result in significantly more plays, but they're only about 150k ahead of that new, niche, German metal band. And then just withing metalcore bands that I know and listen to: August Burns Red - 100k more than The Warning, Wage War - over double more, All That Remains - almost 4x as many, Our Last Night - 4x as many, Killswitch Engage- over 5x as many plays, etc. And none of those bands got a year of gigs opening for Muse, Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses, Three Days Grace and then playing at the VMAs. Can't help but feel like The Warning would be massive if they were all born a decade earlier, and were dropping this music in 2013 instead of 2023. Who knows, though. Anything in the entertainment industry seems to be a lot of luck mixed with the dedication and hard work.
@MerelyPassingThrough Жыл бұрын
I checked their Spotify viewers the day of the VMAs and it was at 542k. I'm seeing 555k now. Not as much of an increase as I was hoping for, but it's something. And when ERROR was released, they were at 250k. So I think they'll keep growing gradually by continuing to grind it out on the road and in the studio no matter what. And who knows, along the way, there could be some kind of break that accelerates things. Gonna be interesting in any case.

Are you enjoying their music instead of focusing on ' viral view'? Good info you provided but that's out of your control and I wont be surprised that TW are not fretting over that. In their own words (various interviews) they have already exceeded their own expectations. They do their thing to the best they can and you do yours in your chosen life career.
@IAMTHEJUGGERNATE Жыл бұрын
@@rickyjones01 I just find it interesting. I'm rooting for them to achieve as much success as possible, and every time they get a big opportunity, I can't help but look to see if it'll be that moment that puts them on a fast track to more mainstream success. You'd think there'd be a formula of some sort that could help predict future success for bands and artists, and if such a formula existed, you'd think that The Warning would have a lot of good 'ingredients' for making it big, but so far, bands that I always knew wouldn't grow beyond a certain point due to their genre still have bigger followings than The Warning. You might think it doesn't matter, but most bands that never grow to the point where their members are financially comfortable will eventually just need to call it a career for the practical purpose of putting food on the table and being around to help raise their families once they start them. So maybe the TWA throws enough cash at their Patreon and whatever else that it doesn't matter if they sell a lot of music, tickets or merch, but if that's not the case, the level of success they can attain will likely affect how viable the band continues to be a decade from now (most of the bands I grew up listening to no longer exist, so I'm rooting for them to make a good, long run).
