Unfortunately, Those are very true words. It's one reason that I always suggest people record the encounter quietly if they can, not use profanity, or raise their voice with an officer even if you know what they are doing is illegal, you can calmly state it but don't try to litigate it on the street because an officer can still effect an arrest and the process will most likely harm you rather than him/her. Now this officer was charged with misconduct in office because he violated the FedEx driver's rights, and he was recently found guilty, but the driver is the one who suffered since 2019 because of his actions. Thanks for taking the time to comment! taya@@mikemactavish1665

Cops of that town didn't like it, arrested him and beat the crap out of him after they had him in a jail cell. Held him overnight then the next day took him to the edge of town and told him to keep going. That was when in his early thirties... nearly 40 years ago. My current husband, when in his thirties was so badly beaten by the cops the judge dropped all charges, even though my husband broke one of the cops nose in the struggle. That cop plus others took him down because he turned away from them when they called him over to their patrol car. He was black and blue from ankles to face. The judge...in court...made the cops uncuff him...His hands cuffed to his waist... because she saw how messed up his face was. I stopped the cop and told him I would like to have all his information and I would discuss it with the city council and the mayor the next time I met with damn. He immediately backtracked and stated that it wasn't that big a deal he just wanted to make me aware of it.

The January 6th conspiracy by labelling what was mostly a peaceful protest against an obviously stolen election as an insurrection, was the police state baring its teeth against we the people. In collusion with the big tech companies who gave the feds the location of the protestors without telling the thousands of people who were illegally arrested just for being at the Capitol, shows how deep the anti American conspiracy is. This evil government is out of control and the police state nightmare of Orwell is here and only going to get worse, they’re the enemy within, forget the propaganda about Russia or North Korea, the enemy is the federal government.

Inequality and violation of rights are both allowed to exist because of lack of empathy. Back the blue until they do it to you and down with the welfare state until you lose your job and your home. So many people argue this is a Christian Nation while actively denying help to those Jesus went out of his way to help. Either we need to admit this is not a Christian nation or start helping those Jesus commanded us to help.

Of course it is more convenient to waive your constitutional rights like most cowards and avoid this BUT at the cost of betraying your constitution and Republic. Even during slavery many slaves argued that they'd rather be well fed and in slavery than risk freedom and possibly lose their lives.
