I was the editor of an international journal based in the US in the early to mid- '80s. I put AIM news and commentary in every edition because it addressed every issue faced by ordinary US citizens. I remember how brilliant and dynamic Leonard was onstage speaking at an big AIM event in Wyoming. Leaping all over the stage, reciting poetry.... A great mind and extraordinarily charismatic. He often spoke in pictures... Easy to see why he had to be silenced one way or another. ❤

THANK YOU Rachel Thunder for the incredible work you do to keep this long overdue issue of release of Leonard Peltier Alive with great hope for his release now. When Obama was elected everyone called the Hotline to push this release, but nothing happened. I was blessed to meet several leaders of AIM, Leonard Crow Dog, who was also imprisoned to break the leadership, and Dennis Banks, who I met during the SACRED RUN -London to Moskow , in 1990. May all prayers be heard to allow Leonard Peltier to be with his family and People, to live freedom at last. 🌹🌿 Thank you Real News Networks to make this comemorating talk possible.

Of course it was self-defense, it was ALWAYS self-defense, but federal courts are as crooked as a 3 1/2 dollar bill. There's absolutely no justice to be had in federal courts-they control the jury, I mean those judges are puppets or willing participants, and the DA's are just as joyfully evil and sick as the agents who send people there, so it's really very much a team effort andva gong show. I mean it's a show trial period. I mean it makes the Cardassian trials from the TV series Star Trek look like a paragon of equanimity and citizen justice. Its all very sad. I mean federal judges and anyone high enough of the food chain have had 50 years to right this issue and no one has touched it. The federal government club is lost; they are really pure evil & they will never stop doing evil. I don't know what the future will bring but anyone who thinks there's anything that could be morally saved about these Federal demons I think has not been paying attention for their adult life and I think they should start. These are people who love evil passionately, and they will seek to destroy or harm by any means necessary ANYONE who doesn't immediately bow down to them and empower their lust for destruction and it is just very sad. The world's enemy is the feds, that is certainly been made clear so many times over and domestically they certainly wreck plenty of harm on their own. Hopefully one day their power will end, they're evil will end and simple humanity and decency will return to not just this land but all the lands and countries on Earth that the US has destroyed in its ugly, vial 200 year plus history. One can only hope. Including Palestine. In my eyes in its current form, under its current agenda the federal structure of the US has no right to exist. That's what I have to say about that and I told people that when I speak on political topics everywhere I go. They are cancer on the world and they have nothing positive to offer but death, suffering, destruction, and resource theft. Thats all the DC club is about. It's just about all that is bad. There's nothing good in their agenda and that is sad and I hope more people start waking up to it.

If the evidence was so unsubstantial, can't they declare a mistrial due to prejudice? They can prove there was reasonable doubt that Leonard didn't commit the crime. That is enough to set him free. If the law wasn't followed in the trial, it is a mistrial. I don't know if there are appeals left but get someone who knows the law and isn't there trying to show off as the attorney.

Why is it that NO ONE has read the preeminent book on this topic - "In The Spirit of Crazy Horse" by Peter Matthiessen? Every time I talk about this case, with anyone, I can't find anyone else who has read this great book. If you read Matthiessen's work, you'll know as much, or more, about the case as Leonard's lawyers. It also shows you just how treacherous, how sneaky, and ruthless the National Security State is.
@aspirapolvere55107 ай бұрын
I read it. Amazing book. That book really portrays the "reign of terror" atmosphere prior to the shootout at the ranch. You feel like you were there. It communicates how people feared for their lives. The film "Incident at Oglala" did not really communicate that atmosphere as well, I thought. After reading Spirit of Crazy Horse, I volunteered to spend a couple weeks on Lakota territory to assist an environmental activist who was/is fighting to end the toxic uranium mining that has been encroaching on their lands. The radioactive waste from the mining had contaminated the water serving Cheyenne River. We saw radioactive mining waste dumped off the side of a highway, covered in a broken plastic tarp. The dust was just blowing around in the wind.

@@aspirapolvere5510 It's truly unbelievable, the way the people there have been treated. The couple times that I have been to the Dakotas, my heart is always touched by the endurance of the people; and being white, I get to hear, from the white often Nordic inhabitants, just how racist and resentful toward the Indians they still are. But having been to that country, I could almost picture the escape from White Clay Creek, as though I was there, when I read about it, in Matthiessen's book. Such an excellent, heartbreaking, and infuriating read.

Osiyo on the Dark Side of the Moon! One White Brother here of mixed heritage. What one white? The one who one. OB1. Pick another color! Gosh darn golly he must of jumped right off the screen! While that may be funny to you what I’m about to say is quite real… “Our conversation with the Federal Gov. to Free Native American Political Prisoner Leonard Peltier who’s been falsely imprisoned going on half a century and to honor the Indian Treaties (pre-constitutional law) forming the basis of our great nation was almost entirely redacted on national TV shortly before the insurrection because it demanded that the then President also relinquish the nuclear codes which has never been done. Oct. 2020 I spoke with at least around a dozen federal agents including the FBI and even the US Navy. Trump says before being elected, “We have nuclear weapons so why can’t we use them?” Nancy Pelosi confirmed to our international audience on national TV that indeed they where removing the nuclear codes with the help of the CIA and if anyone has any questions they could just call up and ask. What followed only confirms nuclear tensions where about to explode. The redaction is worth at the minimum trillion$ more than all moneys because with nuclear war lights out! Nothing! This simultaneously addressed the other largest nuclear power and all the rest without having to address any of them directly except our own.” This is a true story. If you alike what you see please support the Peacekeeper. Please allow me to retire and pass the torch. I should not need to utter another word. What was done never needs to be repeated. The whole story must be told with or without the redaction so what happened in Japan never happens again. The hardest work is finished and far too much already been sacrificed. We’re much too close to loosing everything. The freedom of all unjustly incarcerated sets the precedence both on the national and international scale for human rights violations leading us into this mess. If we cannot connect the bigger picture to what is happening on the human scale we’ll loose everything within the next century including the environment. “We inherit the earth from the future generations.” Thank You! Your Peacekeeper and friend P.S. There’ve been many like Christ or the Buddha but Krishna is a thief. Best to be, “Wanted” in Hopi Tribal Court for stealing all of space-time. During the proceedings the Peacekeeper will demonstrate just by being seen the supernatural. Know me (No-me). You know like, “Menominee.” “Brian” means King. Some say I’m all, “Ram.” Indeed 100% Ram (pronounced “wrong”).
