To be fair times gave changed. Whites are much more well received these days in rap culture. Back then em somewhat needed dre to get his foot in the door. And then his skill shined. For all we know if tom was around when em started he may have had need for a dre as well. And if em started today he may have not needed dre. Times are different. But to say that he's below Dr Phil girl and other people on the list of rappers is just a farce. I agree that some things def need to be addressed with rap music. Don't get me wrong, Dre and Kanye could write beats and yell the word "nutz" the whole time and I'd probably want to get down to them, but not everyone wants JUST that to ALL mainstream music. That's what made Pac and old school Em special- no fear and real life
