I just weeks ago met Georgia at the Haw River General Store in NC. I was too freaked out to approach all three members, who were just so casually sitting amongst the dinners/shoppers (as if they're not the true rock Gods that they are) I just couldn't believe my timing and luck. Georgia walked right by me and I managed to squeak out her name. Such a wonderful person. As nice and approachable as a song like this would have you believe. I love this band so much. Great two nights of blissful/shredding music as well.

Their music is so mature and sophisticated that it just breathes and exists as something in nature might, not posing to sound more beautiful than it is. If Yo La Tengo has done anything bad, it's that they've made other bands sound obnoxious and insecure (and unlistenable) in comparison. Great taste and great art by seemingly great people. Can't wait for the full thing.

It's so great looking forward to something. It reminds me of a time long past when we had to hunt for records in shops all over the place to find the gems we wanted. I bought my first YLT CD at Shangri La Records in Memphis in the 90s and have bought every album since, many at Wax N Facts in Atlanta and even more at Amoeba in Hollywood. I'm so happy that you continue to make great music and that record stores are thriving once again.

Fantastic band! I saw them live in Urbino (Italy) more than ten years ago, their last album was And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out then which I adored and they left the stage (they were the closing act) after an instrumental coda of about 15 minutes full of echoes of noise and psychedelia at the same time. So good ...
