Thank you for the video update! I have enjoyed seeing media explorer get spiffed up. What action are you using in the mouse modifiers at 8:00 to set the loop length of your item to the current length? I looked in my mouse modifiers but I only have options to add an action and there is a sea of them! Thanks! :)

He has a video on it somewhere, how he sets up his Reaper. Basically it's a tool bar with custom actions, search 'Grid: Set to' in the action list to find them.

Does anyone have problem with plugins after that update ? I had session with lot of plugins and suddenly Reaper mute some tracks. I was look for any option I could accidently turn off but it helped after erase plugin container on that track and add them once more... I don't need to explain, that half of my session I need to tweak again... Any other of you guys had that kind of problem ? THX for that great tutorial about news!

On 6.19 and in the arrange window, when selecting a MIDI item and pressing "E" to go to in line MIDI editor, makes Reaper glitch out as if its running out of CPU...but it doesn't.... weird....no idea if its a bug but it does it every time. oh well.

version 6.19+dev1219 shows a new merged branch " 2nd pass render ". As I understand it, this will apply any reverb or delay tails to the beginning of a take to make it seamless for looping. would be good if you did a tutorial on this. thanks :)

I never went past Mojave on my 2015 Mac. REAPER doesn't require the latest operating system.

Really thanks my bro .. Every update come in I look for Groove Grid Quantize I need to but Grid line exactly same Groove Line Quantize what it is . So I hope have this option soon .and arabic composer waiting Reaper do this option to switch from cubase to Reaper .and " Micro Tuner" for vst instrument very important for arabic music . pleas Let Reaper do that .

Yes buddy right ,their priority lies elsewhere .Reasamplomatic has no slicing and mapping option automatically which needs to be added .Developers are not creative for such thing ,this daw is best for recording and mixing only dont expect much like logic pro ,ableton ,fruity loops, studio one etc

It does comes with few vst plugins like Reaeq, Readelay etc.

Reaper has eqs delays, reverbs gates and many other effects what it doesn't have, is loads of virtual instruments. The others very often load their own whether you want them or not. This can cause them to be slow to load and be sluggish in performance and unstable. With Reaper you can choose what instruments you want from the many free ones available.

There are many good free VSTs, like Vital, which took 3+ years for someone to make. Reaper is made by two developers as far as I know. I'd rather they made a DAW than a plugin.

There are all kinds of plugins in Reaper. There is enough in it that you can record and mix with just the plugins that come with Reaper. Many of them are quite good as well.

Studio One only started having some sort of decent virtual instruments by version 3. Their Artist version couldn't load any 3rd party plugins.
