I love doing this with markers! I've found that I can get the colors to separate and stay that way when I don't have dry paper for it to spread by adding salt. Plus you get the same texture that salt gives with regular watercolors. I love the separation of the black and gray markers where you can see the blues and pinks used to make them. But my absolute favorite is Crayola brown, it separates into purple and other colors.❤
