Thank you for showing the easy way on how to knit. At almost 57 years, I finally learned how to stitch. I’ve always wanted to learn how but could never get past the first line of stitch.

If you choose a clear glass plate, apply your decoupage to the underside of the plate and you can use the plate to serve things like cookies. Just wipe clean after use.

Good morning Christina, so nice to watch your videos. Thank you for showing "how to" master these projects. The decoupage boxes were wo beautiful, many a time you need to protect an items, and what better manner to keep it safe, dust and scratch free than placing it in a container, boxes are perfect and when decora ted lovingly it is perfect even becoming a décor piece. As usual the blankets are such winners. The basket weave looks so luxurious and warm. Have a most enjoyable day, kind regards.

Watching your videos is not only learning something new each time, but a genuine feast for the senses. Your taste and your style are so refined, there is an aura of that old English charm about them, like stepping into a lovely country cottage on a dreamy afternoon, where everything is in perfect, peaceful, elegant harmony. That is the closest I can come to describing the esthetic pleasure of your videos...

@@TheReclaimedHeirloom It came from the heart - and that large bowl with reversed decoupage is EPIC! Green floral design adds a beautiful, simple elegance to it. I've never decoupaged glass before, but you really inspired me. Now all I have to do is go to a flea market and find a bowl like that. Could you do a small wooden box in a darker, floral design, like a trinket or tarot cards box?

Tricks I’ve learned decoupaging: on clear glass with light colored paper, spray paint white first. Emery boards work great for sanding off paper at edges! And with glassware, heat your oven to the lowest temp possible, turn it off and put your glass in the oven to cure. It sucks so much of the wrinkles off! Then, apply your final coat of decoupage medium.

You have once again outdone yourself! One thing I was watching, I was taught how to crotchet over 40 years ago in home ec.🙂. I never got "professionally perfect" with it, so didn't make much. I see you are sliding your work to the widest part of the hook, this will make all stitches evenly sized. Maybe that has been my problem all these years on things becoming lopsided! 😅, because I always have the same # of stitches. My creative mind is awakened now! Thanks Christina, fabulous video, we're never to old to catch on and improve ourselves. Have a blessed weekend.

Thank you! I have an experience with decoupage by different types of paper. Can say that decoupage on curved surfaces is probably a most difficult one. Bravo! Another trick is you can place you glass or ceramic piece into the oven for 15 minutes to warm it up lightly. It allows you to smooth up wrinkles as well. And thank you for your crocheting projects. I love your beautiful blankets and your tutorials.

Evening ( Australian Time ) darl, magnificent tutorial as usual, what a beautiful job you done on each project, funny thing is l was actually browsing through quite a lot of other crafters doing there tutorials, although l was after four particular projects l wanted for so long to do, although only came out of hospital a few weeks ago after an operation and two emergency operations followedby loosing my beautiful fur baby Tank not a dog a family member, the hospital staff and vet were so wonderful letting my husband and son bring Tank up to the hospital for a last kiss and cuddle hence setting off my first emergency surgery as it had only been two hours post op shouldnt of been out of bed let alone in a wheelchair going down stairs, all the suffering l endured set aside l would do it all over again for another ten minutes with my boy Tank 🐕❤ as body or no thing was stopping me saying goodbye to our boy of eleven years , only being home a few weeks it gives me the time to browse the craft channels and find my four projets l speak of and to date had only found one / covering the plate in a napkin, couldnt find although simular a way to cover a bright yellow tray l brought at one of our opportunity shop, ( l got three actually) thirdly was what to do with all the shoe boxes l have stashed sweetheart beleve me there is dozens lol, yes l have seen some beautiful and verry clever ways to use them although l must say nothing as stunning as your project with the shoe boxes, lastly would you beleve eventhough l can place the napking on a plat l just couldnt grasp the technique of doing the bottom inside or out so thank you xoxo thank thank darl l couldnt beleve my luck coming across your channel again, about time good luck came my way in the form of your calming voice, it makes your worries drift away as does the beautiful scenery you kindly share not { even if its short lived then l go on a " The Reclaimed Heirloom " movie marathon with my saved tutorials of yours lol, also not forgetting your beautiful crafting ideas that are second to none, l was a subscriber to your channel and have done some of your beautiful pieces well tried lol, most were a success although a few well lets say one hot mess lol 🙂 untill l lost everything from my facebook, messanger and sadly my saved craft tutorials, to even find you again sweetheart was a blessing and ment to be, so l am definitely a subscriber again, even if it is my husband phone whom now receives all my notifications and dings every time something is sent to me as l use his email address and pass word now lol, he doesnt mind especially after the month l had inbetween my second and third emergency surgerys l also suffed a heart attack l am in my very early fiftys, so all l can do is stay in bed and relax and how more relaxing could l get than watching your channel on my 75 inch television my darling husband swaped from the loung room for me especially when l watch my marathons of your channel darl lol, with your beautiful calm voice and those stunning scenery you so kindly share with us, the serenity the relaxing vibes it gives off beautiful and best of all l lern not only beautiful craft items its your tips l value the most such in this tutorial with your explanation on Mon Podge thanks so much sweetie they came in super handy for a beginner decoupager like my self, ❤ thankyou Christina, your a beautiful woman inside and out and your caring nature just oozes from you, ⚘👍❤ seriously sweetheart you dont know what you have done to aid in my recovery and l will be forever greatfull, l was just suposed to find you tonight as l was in a bit of a self pitti downer, not now l have spent a lovely time tonight watching and listening to your calming voice, xox 😘⚘🎀💘 thanks again very much appreciated xox Lee { Victoria Australia }♡♡♡~
