Thank you for showing the easy way on how to knit. At almost 57 years, I finally learned how to stitch. I’ve always wanted to learn how but could never get past the first line of stitch.

If you choose a clear glass plate, apply your decoupage to the underside of the plate and you can use the plate to serve things like cookies. Just wipe clean after use.

Good morning Christina, so nice to watch your videos. Thank you for showing "how to" master these projects. The decoupage boxes were wo beautiful, many a time you need to protect an items, and what better manner to keep it safe, dust and scratch free than placing it in a container, boxes are perfect and when decora ted lovingly it is perfect even becoming a décor piece. As usual the blankets are such winners. The basket weave looks so luxurious and warm. Have a most enjoyable day, kind regards.

Watching your videos is not only learning something new each time, but a genuine feast for the senses. Your taste and your style are so refined, there is an aura of that old English charm about them, like stepping into a lovely country cottage on a dreamy afternoon, where everything is in perfect, peaceful, elegant harmony. That is the closest I can come to describing the esthetic pleasure of your videos...

@@TheReclaimedHeirloom It came from the heart - and that large bowl with reversed decoupage is EPIC! Green floral design adds a beautiful, simple elegance to it. I've never decoupaged glass before, but you really inspired me. Now all I have to do is go to a flea market and find a bowl like that. Could you do a small wooden box in a darker, floral design, like a trinket or tarot cards box?

Tricks I’ve learned decoupaging: on clear glass with light colored paper, spray paint white first. Emery boards work great for sanding off paper at edges! And with glassware, heat your oven to the lowest temp possible, turn it off and put your glass in the oven to cure. It sucks so much of the wrinkles off! Then, apply your final coat of decoupage medium.

You have once again outdone yourself! One thing I was watching, I was taught how to crotchet over 40 years ago in home ec.🙂. I never got "professionally perfect" with it, so didn't make much. I see you are sliding your work to the widest part of the hook, this will make all stitches evenly sized. Maybe that has been my problem all these years on things becoming lopsided! 😅, because I always have the same # of stitches. My creative mind is awakened now! Thanks Christina, fabulous video, we're never to old to catch on and improve ourselves. Have a blessed weekend.

I( absolutely love all of these projects. You have taken decoupage to a different level. The plates are amazing and the use of the cling wrap so there's no wrinkles is a great thing to know. The vase is amazing !! I have a lot of clear vases and lots of the small decoupage paper. The large bowl is also amazing !! I have GOT to go to Goodwill and Dollar Tree and find some plates and bowls.

Thank you! I have an experience with decoupage by different types of paper. Can say that decoupage on curved surfaces is probably a most difficult one. Bravo! Another trick is you can place you glass or ceramic piece into the oven for 15 minutes to warm it up lightly. It allows you to smooth up wrinkles as well. And thank you for your crocheting projects. I love your beautiful blankets and your tutorials.
