The #MercedesBenz #EQB250 takes the place as the most affordable fully electric model from Mercedes. Borrowing the ICE platform from the GLB, the #MercedesBenzEQB has a more conventional boxy shape compared to the more expensive EQS and EQE siblings, with a front mounted electric motor, this FWD #Benz is capable of up to 245 miles of range on a full charge and its one of the few small SUV's out there that offers a kid-sized 3rd row seat.

You seem to get the old stuff for a premium price! I live in Europe and I just ordered an EQB 250+ AMG line full option for €64.000. And that includes 20” rims and adaptive suspension, sport seats not these garden chairs, Burmester 710 Watts, 13 speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, newer software on the MBUX with wireless Carplay and Android using the whole screen, one hell of a speech control, you can nearly have a conversation with your car, augmented reality satnav, with satellite overlay if wanted, head up display, heated steering wheel, traffic light cam, integrated dashcam and more. Also nobody here drives over 85 mph, cause you’ll lose your license, so higher top speeds are useless, not to mention that it will destroy your range. Acceleration also is sufficient, quicker also destroys your range and only gets you quicker to the next traffic light. The MBUX system automatically calculates your route with charging stations along the way, taking into account the traffic, your driving behavior and even the weather to calculate the range. You can also indicate how much battery load you want to have left when you get to your destination, and get full info on charging stations along the way, how many are available, speeds and prices. It is a far superior system over every competitor! Also it is better to look at the time it takes to quick charge, instead of the number that seems to indicate the speed. With other brands it mostly is a loading speed spike and the curve will go down quickly after that, with Mercedes it isn’t a curve, but a flatline. So much more consistent. Also the WLTP range is surpassed and the acceleration number isn’t exaggerated like with other brands, that will lose a lot of speed when the battery isn’t charged completely. Car reviewers need to learn to focus on things that matter with EVs instead of reviewing them the same as they do ICE cars.

Mercedes-Benz was the second European manufacturer to announce they are converting to the NACS port after Volvo. All EV's in Model Year 2025 from Mercedes-Benz will get it. Also Mercedes announced adapters for all existing EV's to utilize the Tesla charging network, along with making their own charging network as well.

Good video. Decent car. Not the most impressive EV though. Side Note: can all car review videos stop using the marketing scheme of calling it “vegan leather”. Let’s call it what it is… “synthetic leather”… which is not good for the environment during its production. Is not as durable during ownership as real leather and takes 10x longer to degrade in a land fill.
