You are right, they are originally Captain Atom villains, they debuted in 1967 in the Charlton Comics (so Jewelee is way older than Harley), fun fact Mime & Marionette in newer Watchmen related comics are inspired by Punch & Jewelee.

I love this movie (and your reaction!). I remember being so blown away when it turned out to be a secret sequel to The Flashpoint Paradox - THAT'S the kind of shock universe-building I want from the likes of the MCU/DCU and we rarely get outside of post-credits scenes. Incidentally, there's an excellent comic book sequel to this! Including an explanation of why the spell is a goofy Monopoly-esque card.

The twist of this, and by extension this whole continuity being connected to Flashpoint Paradox and the reveal of the bullet hole in Zooms head is one of my favorite twists of all time. Like one of my favorites out of anything.

good reaction, always enjoy Coy and John reaction to these movies. but I have say few things, the character that was on the Human Target miniseries was Ice (which is a heroic character which have a Norse origins) and not Killer Frost (the character that was here who usually is a villain), Coy mistook them as same character, he also said that Ice and Fire are sisters which isn't true, they are usually portrait as friends and Fire is actually from Brazil. (both character have strong ties to Justice League International books). also Greg Smallwood was the artist of Human Target miniseries and not Christopher Chance (Christopher Chance is the name of Human Target).

I like how this movie is in the same continuity with the other DCAMU New 52 film and continue the story of Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox with Zoom and the effects of what happened when Thomas Wayne Batman shot him in the head. Just so you know most of these animated films do have end credits.... The human Target character had his own TV series and made guest appearance on Arrow.

Dudes, Killer Frost is not Ice, Frost was Crystal Frost in this and Ice is Tora Olafsdotter, two very different people. Their powers are cold based but Frost absorbs heat to create cold and Ice just generates ice and cold

There was a live-action adaptation of _The Human Target_ on Fox a little over 10 years ago. I don't know how comic accurate it was, but it was a fun show. That's mainly how I know of the character.

This movie borrows a core premise (the "Get out of Hell free" card) and a few of the characters, from an arc of Gail Simone's run on Secret Six - they're a sort of anti-villain team similar to the Suicide Squad, but not quite. There was a limited run in 2006, then an ongoing series running from 2008-2011. Scandal Savage, Knockout, and Deadshot feature heavily, and there's almost a rotating cast of other villains.

the 2010 Human Target show was based on the comic book character, the character is an old one the first Human Target originally debuted in 1953 and second and more well known version Christopher Chance (the version that appeared in all three live action adaptation of the character) debuted in 1972. also the 2010 series wasn't the first TV series based on the character, the short-lived Human Target show which aired in 1992 for 7 episodes was the first series based on the character. Human Target also appeared in few episodes of Arrow TV show.

Ice and Killer Frost are actually 2 different characters. Ice is Tora Olafsdottir, a hero from Scandinavia. Usually a part of justice league international or other teams. A handful of different villains have been Killer Frost since the 70s.
