I love the little hints at Cyborg Superman's true intentions like how when he and Eradicator blow up Lex's building neither of them cared that Mercy would have been caught in the blast. Like they immediately told you Cyborg Supes wasn't trustworthy.

I genuinally look forward to the Universe James Gunn will create. He gets alot of ununnecessary crap about giving Henry the boot, but I think people need to look at a bigger picture. I love Henry Cavill, adore his time as Superman, but I trust Gunn to make fantastic choices for this new DCU.

My only issue is he’s said he will have a hand in writing all the scripts which I think is a mistake. It means every character will just be Gunns version of those characters and while he’s a great writer I think that is a little too much as he’s shown in the past that not every take works

I recommend after finishing the dc animated movie universe that you watch crisis on 2 earths and batman/ superman public enemies. On a side note: Wife at the time? I adore Conner/Superboy in this movie, absolutely iconic. They do a great job of making him seem both like a capable combatant and a kid. Like, every time somebody gets a hit on him, I'm like, that's illegal, you can't do that. He's the "Superman" you're least inclined to trust at the beginning. Not only does he work for Lex, which is a BIT of a red flag, but he's arrogant and annoying. And then they show off that he's legitimately heroic (more than Eradicator or cyborg superman, who were ready to let a woman die) and how uncomfortable he is being under Lex's thumb. It's a great arc for the movie. Them sending him to Ma and Pa at the end makes me so happy.

Connor is my favorite of the supermen. Love his character! Although his 90s leather jacket look is iconic and amazing, I really like his t-shirt look from the Geoff Johns run. His relationship with Cassie Sandsmark (Wonder Girl) is one of the most iconic Titans ships. And personally, his Infinite Crisis arc is my favorite of him. Loved how they shed spotlight on him in this huge DC Crisis event.

These are great movies. I read the comics when they came out. They're great, and some things are different in the movies. The kept all the heart and impact from the comics. Most DC Animated movies are really good. They did fubar the Hush ending, but it's the only one that comes to mind.

I love the reactions to the animated movies, but what I would love even more is (if he hasn't already seen it) for Coy to react to Superman and Lois the tv series. I know John and Greg have reacted to seasons 1 and 2 (seriously you guys need to react to season 3...it's SO much better than season 2) but I'm not sure if Coy has. As a hardcore die hard Superman fan, it is one of the absolute greatest Superman properties out there. Easily top 5. The show really gets what makes him and Lois such amazing characters, and I guarantee the first episode along will have Coy marking out over all the classic references. He'll love the twists and turns. And the emotional scenes will definitely have you shedding a few tears.
