Hi can you guys maybe tell me which DC reel I can use for big baits also not just the curado?! And especially I need a 6,5 foot rod for pike and bass but should be able to throw stuff from 20-150 grams still. And not be so damn too heavy. Maybe you guys have some more ideas then me. A reel like this would be a great paring for some Sebile Magic Swimbaits I recently picked up. They are like tossing a rock. Keep up the good work. If you were planning to splurge and buy a $600 reel, you could still keep both of these Curados. The 4.7 reel would be great for going deep offshore too.

not a very good one haha just talking in the chat I have some deps slide swimmer 145 I’ve Tried with the curado 200 It worked okay I wonder if the older braking system will do a better job of slowing a heavy bait like that when casting because I felt with the 200 it almost needs a little bit more breaking to slow it down on the cast I have a older citica 200 salt water Version with old VBS braking system it dose a really good job with bigger bites Interested to see how curado 300 braking systems work with Heavier bates

After seeing this, I now regret my decision to pass on a Tatula 200 I saw for $130 for large swim baits. Don't get me wrong, Daiwa is not Shimano, but when you compare some of the specs, the TAT200H looks like a swimbait sleeper reel--granted it has less drag than the 300k, but the line capacity is almost identical (180m/0.32mm) plus it has an aluminum frame+sideplate. It probably all comes down to the durability of the gears.

Bro... I was recently diagnosed is a rare type of auto-immune disease in the form of inflammatory arthritis. I was in hospital for about 2 weeks and couldn't walk for about 2 months. I am currently on the mend, basically I started walking without a crutch today! I know what you mean when you say you would be paralyzed with your back injury as I used to experience that in the past aswell. I needed a Voltaren shot just to start to walk again. Hope you recover and never go through that again.

I do too and prefer it to my Tranx 301A. The only thing desirable about the Curado 300 for me is that super low IPT (~25 inch) for big soft baits and crankdowns.

Pleasee answer this question. I was wondering if I put boca bearings in the costal sv if it will cast as far as the tatula elite. I just want to know cause I like the look of the costal but I want it to be close to the elites casting distance while also being able to skip and stuff.

No need for boca bearings. The coastal sv tw will cast much farther if you change out the inductor to a zillion sv tw inductor. I've done it for my old tatula sv and the 2020 version and it really opens up the reel. I bought mine from the tackle trap.
