@Catman Inc. Whether you like it or not he's right... Btw all the rhythmic elements are different to the original version so even the first comment is not accurate. A lot of things have been added here...drums and strings mostly. A good remix, revision or whatever you call it doesn't have to do with the sounds you use or add. There are really good remixes that keep the main essence of the original and others that take a minor element and highlight it in a way that the original didn't.

A remix was made, to emphasize some things that the original analog mix left aside. Always respecting the original axis of the song, but giving certain touches that are always left aside in the final original mixes. It's a revision, not a "remix." A review INCLUDES SEVERAL remixes inside. Digital technology allows a new allocation of channels for stereo and 5.1 (that was done in the choirs, strings and guitars, which in the original version were put very low, just for a question of the sound of those times: the rhythm guitar was put where it should be in the original version). And the drums were emphasized for the sound of this era. The same goes for the bass. An artisan work that goes beyond a simple remix. And, of course, @Catman Inc. as usual: the troll of every day, representing what music and dialogue always leaves out of everything.

Hands down the best remix of the original track from Chaka!!! For me, the best remixes are those which do not deviate too much from the original and mostly incorporates additional production but still remaining true to the original sound. That's why I really appreciate the remixes by Joey Negro, Dimitri From Paris, John Morales, Tom Moulton, John "Jellybean" Benitez, Shep Pettibone, Francois Kevorkian, John Luongo, Arthur Baker, Pet Shop Boys, Eric Kupper, and now I'm adding The Reflex to that pantheon. 💜
