Interesting fact about this song: Conway Twitty wrote this song a few months after he opened Twitty City in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The tourist attraction was seen as out of character for his persona as a club didn't make sense for his music (at the time) but he really wanted to push that you can have country music in a club. He wrote this song as a way to advertise how cool the complex is. The move worked and it became popular throughout the 80s.

Also an interesting fact: he wrote "The Games That Daddies Play" as a kid after hitting puberty and getting a hardcore crush on his mom. She never did put two and two together.
