Yes I forgot how different the singing and standing in Divine Liturgy is compared to Latin Rite 😅 I'm glad you liked it

In the East, all sacraments of initiation (baptism, chrismation, and 1st holy communion) are given to babies. So don't be shocked to see little kids recieve communion. This was the practice in the Church for the first 1200 years. It's the Latin Church that shifted from the norm. And started to give confirmation & Eucharist at age of reason.

What a beautiful church, I've seen it in another KZbin channel before, I think one of the priests there is the artist who painted the beautiful icons.

Hey Amber it's one of your followers Abdul! I wanted to take this time to appreciate your content.. I am a college student your age who's about to graduate and honestly speaking college hasn't exactly been the smoothest ride for me. Like many people I drifted away from the church and made some poor choices. I was pretty lost throughout many years of my life in college and only now am I starting to repent and make a return to the church. I wanted to appreciate you and your channel for the encouragement for me to return to the church and lead on the right direction. I personally believe graduating will be a second opportunity for me to raise my children closer to God.

Hi, I'm really happy that you liked the Byzantine Divine Liturgy. It is as authentic as the Latin. It's like becoming acquainted with some wonderful branch of your family, that you didn't even know existed. I grew up on the Latin but in the late sixties, when attending the Tridentine was like going up the down staircase. Nice to see that a younger generation is rehabilitating Tradition on both the eastern and Latin side.

I believe that I've been to the same Byzantine Church that you went to! My dad and I go to this one once in a while and it's absolutely beautiful and much more reverent compared to the Novus Ordo church my family belongs to. I loved how the priest had the children come sit up front and close during the Homily and how being there really felt like Heaven on Earth! As of late, I've really been interested in sticking to tradition and going to different churches and I've really been inspired by you actually to grow closer to God and truly dive deeper into the faith. Hopefully I'll get the chance go to a TLM church soon!

Such a nice vlog! I usually don´t like vlogs, but I really enjoy yours :) Just a not on the the Starbucks Logo: it´s not Lilith, but simply a mermaid with two fins, or rather a siren (as in greek mythology and maritime folk tales in general). Not that that changes much about how the company works and what it does, but I don´t like it when misinformation like that gets spread
