I'll be honest and say that I've never had a poor breakfast from Taco Bell. It might be mildly disappointing when they forget the breakfast salsa packets, but the food is always hot and generally well portioned. I would posited that, at least in my neck of the woods, Taco Bell isn't the major choice for breakfast, thus they aren't crowded, allowing the folks making the food to take their time rather than rush through order after order like the poor folks up the street at McDonald's or down the street at Dunkin'.

don't know if anyone will see this, but if you particularly like fast food breakfast, a lot of the components of these expensive items (and imitations of the items) are very easy to make at home

Breakfast is made by adults that go to work early. Later in the day you get some younger workers that are being trained and there is a lot more turnover. There is also a smaller menu in the morning so the employees are making the same thing and repetition builds consistency.

I worked at Taco Bell in the '90s and our instructions were to fill the cup 1/3 with ice. That cup is about 2/3 full of ice. More ice, less drink. ☹️ I like all their breakfast items 🙂

In my opinion employees have less customers in the morning,therefore are less rushed. They can take their time to neatly put ingredients in. Afterwards the rush begins,and they tend to slop food together to get the orders out

Breakfast is definitely Taco Bell’s strong suit nowadays. I’m also a night owl and am not typically up and out when fast food breakfast is served, but I tried their breakfast crunch wrap a couple of months ago and was pleasantly surprised. Slightly smaller than a regular crunch wrap, but with much more filling. The breakfast salsa is particularly tasty and really brightens up an already decent item. My past couple of lunch/dinner visits to Taco Bell have not been as positive.

Hi, I'm in England (Cheshire) and we have Taco Bell but not as our American cousins would know it ! We generally only have very generic Tacos and Burritos and rarely get the specialist treats from USA which is a real shame. I tried Taco Bell when in USA to get married (don't judge me 😒) and really enjoyed the stuff I got in CA and WA. Taco Bell is becoming more popular in England and I hope their menu is expanded at some point. All the best x

I tried the bacon, potato, and sausage and preferred the bacon one!! My Taco Bell is pretty good! I rarely get a bad item some are better than others! I love the steak grilled cheese burrito and the steak power bowl those are my favorites!! I loved the salsa verde items as well! I usually try the loaded nacho fry items too!!

I am also a night owl. I rarely find myself awake at a time when breakfast is served. I would like to try one of these if I'm ever awake during the hour when they're serving it. Great review, Reviewbrah! I do eat at Taco Bell from time to time. My standard order is 6 of their standard hard shell tacos. As far as fast food is concerned, the hard shell tacos are the best.

Personally, I enjoy the power bowl menu items. I get the chicken power bowl pretty regularly and its never been disappointing. I remember when I found your channel I tried to see if you'd ever reviewed them and couldn't find it. Lately I have been enjoying the steak & bacon based on your review, and it has also been good. However, the chicken power bowl is such a nice, reliable standby and it never leaves me with that greasy feeling or upset stomach.

Speaking as a Taco Bell enthusiast, I am graced with a consistent overall Taco Bell experience from my local Taco Bell. In hundreds of trips, it is more consistent than any other fast food chain in my area across the board. I realize that the particular location is the positive outlier so my opinion is heavily biased. Therefore, I cannot say if one particular day part is more or less consistent. Great review as always.

My son (23) loves the taco bell breakfast. The $5 box is an incredible deal. He just finished eating it again, as I write this. It is pretty consistently good. That is, if the employees actually show up to open the store. Do not forget the breakfast salsa, it makes every bite better.

breakfast there is always good...i get the Breakfasr Crunchwrap in sausage. My only complaint is that different locations make it differently. Some use whole sausage patties...others use breakfast crumbles. Some chop the hashbrown--others leave it whole. That is my only complaint...but if i go for fast food breakfast..its taco bell or McD's sausage egg biscuit.

Many of the breakfast items are simple by design, but I know what could set them apart and it's an easy fix. TB offers salsa packets (like McD's) for these items. Salsa, picante, and salsa verde. ONLY available during breakfast hours and exclusive to breakfast items. This would add a uniqueness to the breakfast items with something as simple as a condiment pack. If successful, TB could then relax and allow this condiments into the regular "anytime" lineup of sauces.

We have two Taco Bells near us, and both are usually good for all items. We're in the southwest so they have some authentic fast food Mexican places to compete with, and most of the employees have grown up with Mexican food. We just tried the sausage and bacon breakfast tacos and liked them. We preferred the bacon bfast tacos. The texture and taste of the tortilla was more like a pancake or a crepe to us. Very interesting.

I can't eat Taco Bell's breakfast items because I can distinctly taste the chemical that gives vomit its flavor. That same chemical is in Hershey's, and I don't mind it in chocolate, however Taco Bell's breakfast always gets me for some reason.

As someone who goes to Taco Bell for breakfast more than any other fast food chain for anything, I can attest to their quality, especially the burritos. even the "regular" sausage burritos, which come at 1.47 a piece in my parts, are perfect to eat in the car without a mess. The sauce DOES enhanced it but isn't necessary. You can't beat it.

The fact that Taco Bell can consistently produce good breakfast items shows that Taco Bell can produce consistent, good quality lunch & dinner items as well if they wanted to. I wonder if the procedures and standards for breakfast items are different than their procedures and standards during lunch and dinner hours?

I don't believe procedures or standards would be different. It's likely that, during the evening especially, the younger less experienced, often times less disciplined or less motivated workers come in, and the morning manager leaves, which all likely can account for the decrease in quality and consistency. This also of course varies store to store.
