Bournemouth looked amazing today, I didn't recognize the pressing from my team today. I think they are tired, either way Walker can't play ahead of others at the moment. I get it's still first half of the season, Pep is still finding the solution and we won't see it till next year. I hope the loss wakes us up but I don't think it's for lack of trying to win, I genuinely think our midfield has no legs. We need Pep to play academy kids, with hunger. Atleast until our players recover. Bournemouth was great!

Love pep but he only wants to attack after 90 minutes, at the end of the game we actually looked like a decent team because of doku and Rico's directness but for some reason pep wants to play carefully when we don't have rodri or kdb. No long passes out side of gundo's for the equalizer. Just safe and controlling football that has no bite and defensively shambolic

The Problem is that City's midfield is in desperate need of an overhaul. Gundo and Silva don't have the legs like they used to. Rodri papered over the cracks, but now he's gone, the midfield is being exposed. They can't even defend transitions anymore

Us Arsenal fans with sense have been saying that for years. It’s not just the striker and X factor. There’s no speed in our play. Where’s the string of 3-4 quick forward passes using 1-2 touches. City’s issue is Rodri missing, that DM position is crucial to a pep system, he plays one way only so it hurts the team, i love pep he’s the goat to me, but he needs to switch up to counter attack this season, without Rodri this style doesn’t just click..

I think the market is at fault. The little quality that is out there goes for a high price as well as the transfer focus on youth means a player becomes a hit and stays or gets written off as a flop and doesn't reach their potential in the mid twenties

Arsenal i agree with it. they just aren`t the team that Arsenal fans think that they are. As for City i don`t think we can say this, as people do this every single season but City still find a way to win the PL at the end of the day. as a neutral tough, it will be interesting to see if Liverpool will cause an upset and beat City too the titl,e bcause let`s be honest Arsenal aren`t in a title race, they are in a top four race also why it doesn`t work too keep the same energy between Rodri and Odegaard is that Rodri is a world class player, Odegaard isn`t. @ he’s declined physically but he’s still an output machine. The same grace mo Salah gets, kdb should be the same. Last season he came back and nearly got top assister with half the games played. All the graphics match the eye test, when he’s on the pitch city create way more and are more threatening, at the end they overpower teams, that’s how they won the league last year

Thing is, Arteta has PTSD from the 22/23 season, he has this belief that playing that style throughout the season "burnt us out" and as a result we fell off towards the end. However, what he fails to realise is that if Saliba didnt get injured that season Arsenal would've 100% won it.

So yes you look at the trophy count but what we see on the pitch ain't it. They are miles away from being as fluid as 100 point city + all this, in a time where the overall standard of football has fallen off a cliff imo
