We cannot watch our children 24/7. Life does not work that way. There is a difference between neglect and normal living. It is obvious this child was not neglected. I wish the father peace.

Some sort of blame? Why wouldn't he feel all the blame when he's the one solely responsible for what happened? An accident is having a minor fender bender or dropping a glass while you're washing the dishes. This wasn't an accident and it could have and should have been prevented, so don't minimize it. Otherwise men will continue to get away with being bad partners and parents.

AS a mother of an autistic child who elopes and puts herself in danger often.. this breaks my heart. I too would feel so angry like Mom is. Ive often asked myself if something happens not on my watch how would i feel? and this exact reaction is me.. i wouldnt want to be with the man who fathers my child however after seeing this it opens my eyes to the possibility of accidents happening. We do try our best with these kids and it takes 2 seconds to be life changing. My heart hearts for all of them.

She told me that she had patients who were so battered, torn up, beatened or burned that it would have been a blessing if they passed but they lived. It wasnt their time yet. she had patients who had just a bad cold and they died. She said it was just their time to go. There is nothing you can do no rhyme or reason no explanation

That poor man is hurting SO bad. One could tell even before the story was told. For Theresa to say that he was chosen to carry the guilt and pain is humbling. Imagine if the wife or daughter found the little boy. Dad is doing his best to keep from crumbling into a million pieces. I could only imagine the pain and torment with every one of his wife’s words or painful glances. I am of course very sorry for her and her daughter. She needed someone to blame. I lost my baby boy to a brain aneurysm at ten months old. It was and has been absolute hell. He went to sleep for a nap. And he wouldn't wake up. He was warm and breathing still but wouldn't open his eyes. When we got to the hospital. They separated us and I was met with CPS and cops. Asking me crazy questions. It was proven hours later. It wasn't due to abuse or him hitting his head. So they finally let me be with him. An hour later, Doctors came in requesting I hurry up and make the decision to donate his organs. Part of me wanted to be selfish and not let anyone near him. But I knew he could save two lives and he was completely brain dead. I haven't been the same. Me and my husband are still together but live separately for now. I'd give anything and I mean anything to smell his breath why he slept just once more😢

Even before their souls were born his love for her was so great he chose to carry that burden for her. What a Beautiful Soul ❤ Wow, not only was it supposed to happen but could have happened on her watch. I pray they find healing and a much deeper connection knowing they chose to experience this together but also in knowing their son is not gone forever, he is always there loving them, he is happy wrapped in Gods Love, he is in the best hands and one day they will all be reunited. ❤ None of us are here to stay but it’s good to be reminded that nobody is ever lost forever. I can only imagine how many other people this video could help. 🙏🏼

The minutes the mom said "on his watch" I knew she blamed the father completely and that's where her true anger laid. And knowing the guilt the father must feel every single day and night must be soul-crushing. I hope they both can heal.

I have watched this twice now. I just want to say to both of you, the parents, that accidents happen every day. It is destructive for the both of you and your daughter to be angry. Like one of the other commentors stated "your son was not neglected, it was nobodys fault and you need to start embracing his memory. This kind of guilt could cause a lot of damage, some damage it has caused already. Life is short, but you need to all be a family and heal together. Your son will never be forgotten. Remember all the smiles he brought to you.

The father should not blame himself for his son's death. That could happen to anyone and it can happen in 30 seconds.
