Those little jabs are her pain. This dad is/was living in his pain of guilt as his penance. Blessings to the parents, extended family & friends. My husband & i, My boy's were 5 & 2 we went to the river, my boys didn't want to go further into the river they were sitting at the shore line in 4inches of water for 2 yards, my husband was standing at the backed up truck watching. I went further towards the middle of the river which was below chest high i immediately turned around to go back but my 2 year old tried to follow me and the current was already carrying him away i rushed toward him but the current picked up and i was screaming trying so very hard to run he was floating toward the heavier current & i dove to him and caught his hair i pulled him to me gathered him up to take him out of the water but he wasn't breathing he was a rag doll, while rushing out of the water i turned his body away from me & was trying to press his stomach in with my forearm & just leaving the water he started choking & crying, I'll never forget his face just below the water surface his mouth was wide open as if he was yelling & his eyes were opened huge. Every time in my life when i would scream, yell or just say "God Help Me" he would..& he did.

He should have been supervising his son properly. If the mother did this, everyone would be attacking her. But because it's a man, he automatically gets a pass for his laziness and incompetence. Double standards as usual.
@AnitaCole-ug6nq

Of course we know children should be supervised, and we also know mistakes happen and there's a reason for everything that comes our way and you don't know if anyone would be attacking the mother this is about healing for both of them not for people to throw blame around @@martymcfly5764

I do understand her anger but that wont get her son back she needs to forgive him it was a stupid mistake he will never forgive himself that is hard enough.

@vrazalico455 now you join the band wagon! Listen, stop trying to come for me! I said what I said, and it's a fact. He lost his son, too! All I did was repeat what she ( mom) said. @martymcfly5764
@martymcfly5764 Жыл бұрын
Some sort of blame? Why wouldn't he feel all the blame when he's the one solely responsible for what happened? An accident is having a minor fender bender or dropping a glass while you're washing the dishes. This wasn't an accident and it could have and should have been prevented, so don't minimize it. Otherwise men will continue to get away with being bad partners and parents.

AS a mother of an autistic child who elopes and puts herself in danger often.. this breaks my heart. I too would feel so angry like Mom is. Ive often asked myself if something happens not on my watch how would i feel? and this exact reaction is me.. i wouldnt want to be with the man who fathers my child however after seeing this it opens my eyes to the possibility of accidents happening. We do try our best with these kids and it takes 2 seconds to be life changing. My heart hearts for all of them.

my husband was killed in a motorcycle accident. He was only 36. the lady across the road came over about 6 months later and she told me that she was an emergency room nurse. She told me that she had patients who were so battered, torn up, beatened or burned that it would have been a blessing if they passed but they lived. It wasnt their time yet. she had patients who had just a bad cold and they died. She said it was just their time to go. There is nothing you can do no rhyme or reason no explanation

That poor man is hurting SO bad. One could tell even before the story was told. For Theresa to say that he was chosen to carry the guilt and pain is humbling. Imagine if the wife or daughter found the little boy. Dad is doing his best to keep from crumbling into a million pieces. I could only imagine the pain and torment with every one of his wife’s words or painful glances. I am of course very sorry for her and her daughter. She needed someone to blame. Life can change in an instant. I pray they can heal together and get through this horrific time. Treasure every moment. 🌹
