Nothing worse than watching him rebuild this thing for an hour n a half then finally the time comes to see it rip through the water and he cant go above 2mph for whatever reason. Seems like the engine needed more than just new gaskets.

Right!? I think he cant get on powerband with that custom exhaust he made, the expansion in the factory pipe in two strokes helps get on the powerband. also the carb may need tuning

​@@Wangan280zIdk for sure cuz I don't know a whole lot about engines but my brother is a mechanic and from what I recall when you pressure test a engine like he's doing here at 41:30 the pressure is supposed to hold. So if I was to guess I'd think it's something internal with the pistons or cylinders. I may be wrong idk u seem to know more about engines then me so ur prolly right. I could definitely see a carburetor being an issue after sitting for all them years in that weather.

Great job definitely need to see why it's not making more power, I'd think it should capable of 70kmh minimum. Also need to try get a good impeller. The impeller to pump clearance is way to big, will be losing a bit of speed there too

Plus the impeller is probably out of balance with all that welding on it! Clearance is vital on jet units! My late father used to overhaul many jet units for high powered jet boats & I watched him a few times !

The timing is out as well. That will cause low power. He just put everything back and bolted it down, not setting the timing.

We had these models when I was a teen in the 90s. That’s definitely not the original engine. The two stroke Yamaha engine was first a 650cc twin cylinder then they made a 700cc (ours in ‘94). Would like to know where that motor came from.

영상잘봤습니다. 한가지 지적한다면 스크류를 용접해서 복원하는건 영맘에 안드는군요 회전물체를 용접해서 복원한다면 분명 무게중심이 안맞아서 진동이나 다른문제가 발생할여지가 있는대 용접해서 줄로 다듬고 평행도 안보고 수선하는건 문제가 있습니다. 마지막에 강에서 시운전할때 배기구에서 연기올라오는것도 문제가 좀있어보이고요 도색할대 옆에있는 채소에 페인트가루가 날려들어가는것도 보완해야될 사항입니다. 바이크 뿐만아니라 제트스키까지 수선하는 실력은 참 좋군요 😀😃😄
