yes neca may be better when it comes to articulation and detail but theres something about mcfarlane figures that are so damn charming to me i always saw it as mcfarlane figures are like stylistic versions of the characters when neca are more realistic

McFarlane has some brilliant artists on their team and produces some truly wonderful pieces. But, the Neca figure is obviously far superior. I think that they're both wonderful for their own reasons. Thanks for another fabulous review!

Hi spot, great review. Thanks for the comparison. Small note, I think you might really enjoy the alien queen from the revoltech line. I know you reviewed the normal alien a long time ago, so you might wanna get a couple more of those and a queen. Believe when I tell you that words cannot the describe the look of the people who enter in a room and see the little diorama of the three aliens surrounding the alien queen (with a couple of alien eggs). Love your videos, keep up with the good work :)

Grew up with that alien queen figure and i love it so much. :) sadly it snapped in half in a moving accident (the torso has a weird balljoint thing that doesn't really do anything, and mine broke there) but man oh man it looks so badass. Nice review

Great review as always 👍 Amazing figure from the old McFarlane production. Way wayyyy better than NECA. Why ? Because first of all it's from year 2003 Second: it was around 40€ 40€ ! ! ! For everything ! Can you imagine such a quality and quantity for that money even back then?! I like how the colors are not too bright and like that they look more realistic. Again, nobody can beat the old McFarlane production especially from year 2002-2009 Now days-completely different story👎

I had McFarlane alien firgures in the past, but they are all broken and had to throw them away. Unfortunately I don't have this McFarlanse queen anymore😢. Now I have Neca alien figures and honestly I prefer Neca figures, because of the articulations. I still want to go for the alien queen from Neca, because I still haven't to queen yet. Even thou, the McFarlane queen has better feet sculpt than the Neca version.

People who argue this queen can’t stand on its own...neither can NECAs. The difference is this beautifully poses into her base where NECA relies on a horrid looking metal rod. All these years later this queen is still my winner. She’s thick, unique, sturdy and looks mean as hell. And with that diorama it’s just a win win.

I know opinions are just that, but in mine, the Queen shouldn’t be thick and sturdy. In the movie she was huge, but quite spindly and spidery. Had she been a real organism her proportions would completely fail - and that’s partly what made her so alien. Also, the arms should be sitting atop her shoulder blades on her back almost. So, NECA wins for near 100% accuracy for me. But I appreciate both. OH, and as for sturdiness, it’s true that Neca can pop apart and such but I feel like she’s fixable. With Mcfarlane’s, if she breaks...she’s broken. For good. That’s why I’m terrified to move her at all.

Alien action figures sometimes or surprising what you going to get but I don't like Alien versus Predator the movie I never could watch it sometime I might be able to it's the priming what does he does take you out but does not a third movie you're pretty stupid if there's a there's a movie out there they are the yeah somebody made up there movie a couple years back this should be a sad

No, I'm not blind. This figure has characteristics that don't meet that standards of contemporary figures. Examples are the lack of better articulation, the paint job, and the lack of accuracy in the sculpt and proportions to the queen in the movie. This figure may have been legit back when it was released, but it hasn't aged well... again, in comparison to some of today's hard hitters in action figures like Neca.
