I watched Mighty Ducks and Freakazoid, enjoyed them both. I never actually watched the Mighty Ducks movies, but I was aware that the show was something entirely different. And I liked what it was, that being a silly action show. I never hear about it much, so it sits in the "did that really exist" corner of my memories. One of my favorite gags was a fourth-wall break in which they had less time to get out of a trap because they sat and waited during the commercial break. Freakazoid was just wacky, with some laugh-out-loud moments. It paired well with Earthworm Jim, a similarily wacky and short-lived show. Freakazoid (the character) even directly referenced it once, threatening to replace his narrator with the narrator from Earthworm Jim. That said, the shows couldn't have been more different. For as wacky as Freakazoid was, it was a "classy" wacky, for lack of a better word. Earthworm Jim was more "zany", and had more action. Both shows were pretty random, though, and that made them fun to watch.

I have been a fan of Tex Avery, since as a small child, I enjoyed watch the cartoons he created, in particular "Screwy Squirrel". This may be why I never liked "The Wacky World of Tex Avery" which came out in 1997, a full seventeen years after Tex Avery had passed on. I'm not sure who thought this show was a good idea, but I found it an insult to the memory of the legendary cartoonist.
