Hey, so, as a person who works with tails ALOT, that is a real and cruel tail. I know your dad’s friend says it wasn’t, but it 100% is. It’s because of the golden lobster clamp on the tail, which is only used by cruel fur farm tails. The tail is also real, because faux fur tails don’t look like that whatsoever. Faux fur tails and real fur tails are easy to tell apart, and that’s a real tail. Next, you bought it from temu. Temu only sells cruel fur farm tails because they are from Asia, and Asia doesn’t have the same animal abuse laws, so they can easily abuse and kill foxes for their fur. Lastly, because the tail looks so slim and unhealthy, it’s definitely from a starved fox. It’s okay if you didn’t know, just make sure to only buy tails from Etsy, and make sure the tail your buying is labeled ethical.

That said, please reform from purchasing live animal/taxidermy parts from Amazon, Temu, Wish, Aliexpress , and EBay.
