Best known as the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad-the #1 personal finance book of all time-Robert Kiyosaki has challenged and changed the way tens of millions of people around the world think about money. He is an entrepreneur, educator, and investor who believes that each of us has the power to makes changes in our lives, take control of our financial future, and live the rich life we deserve.
With perspectives on money and investing that often contradict conventional wisdom, Robert has earned an international reputation for straight talk, irreverence, and courage and has become a passionate and outspoken advocate for financial education.
Robert’s most recent books-Why the Rich Are Getting Richer and More Important Than Money-were published in the spring of this year to mark the 20th Anniversary of the 1997 release of Rich Dad Poor Dad. That book and its messages, viewed around the world as a classic in the personal finance arena, have stood the test of time. Why the Rich Are Getting Richer, released two decades after the international blockbuster bestseller Rich Dad Poor Dad, is positioned as Rich Dad Graduate School. Robert has also co-authored two books with Donald Trump, prior to his successful bid for the White House and election as President of the United States.

I remember reading your book as a 16 year old, and now I am 31. You taught me so much as a young man that it forever changed my perspective on my Definite Major Purpose in life. It took me many years of goofing-off until I finally found it, and these videos, just now, solidified why I must be an Entrepreneur and not a slave to the status quo. I am forever grateful for your time and commitment to sharing your wisdom Mr. Kiyosaki!!! Our father in heaven will greatly reward you when your time comes, I'm sure of it. -Yuri-

Robert K could have explained the "Greedy" mindset better. Keep an open mind and try to learn from it. Greedy people often have a Scarcity or Poor mindset. Not enough money, not enough food, argue over every single dollar, step on others, try to take advantage, etc. They always take, take, and take. They never give. Often unhappy and upset everyone. They won't spend the time and money to learn. I grew up with that Scarcity mindset and worked very hard to correct it. I put myself through school and invested in myself. Night and day difference once you get it. I don't always like and agree with everything Robert K says. But he has covered the Wealth or Abundant mindset in most of his content like these videos. Shares so much experience and wisdom for free to help others. He is giving with a Wealthy mindset. Not trying take. Totally different Mindset. Greedy and Poor mindset won't pay for a real Accountant or use Qualified advice. Always want everything for free and try do it themselves. They'll take legal advice from the street for free. Even though it's BS lies or even illegal. They do their own taxes or cheap out. Results in paying more taxes long-term. Eg: I knew a high income earner Mr Cheap on $150K year salary, and had multiple pay rises plus bonuses. Shows off, pretends he knows everything and lies, and tries 'Keeps up with the Joneses'. But he was very cheap and greedy. He paid $3,700 extra local state taxes unnecessarily. He didn't understand what they were and didn't ask his Accountant first. When I asked why, he replied "I was worried how much the Accountant would charge". When he finally asked the Accountant he replied he can take quick calls like that for free, value add. Some even offer a 30min free first consultation or promo as this Accountant did. This Accountant has the Wealth and Abundance mindset. Even if the Accountant charged $100 for a consultation. What do you prefer: Pay $3,700 extra tax unnecessarily; or $100 for qualified advice and help to save you many thousands in taxes? Mr Cheap could easily afford the Accountants fees, plus he can claim them on tax. But Mr Cheap chose to save a few hundred dollars short term. He ended up paying tens of thousands in maximum income tax rate, plus extra state taxes. He got a bad reputation for stepping on others and always trying to take advantage. It's his own fault. Bad karma. Poor Mindset, Poor Approach = Poor Results.

You both said, "People who are greedy pay taxes." "Poor people are greedy." We like most of Robert's teaching on the subject of money. BUT, to respond to your comments of greed and the poor. No, that's not true sir. Stop teaching that. How rich was Mother Teresa? 1. If the poor are paying more % of taxes how or why does that equate to their greed? 2. Would you have causes to donate to If it wasn't for people that need due to them being poor, disabled, or needing help? Why be so harsh about the people? They are also the ones trying to get to your position. The ones listening to you now. Buying your book. Surely, a lot of poor people have been an asset to your company. You have guys out here thinking "hey I'm a poor Dad, I want to be a rich Dad to help my family and more like this guy." This is a great video about things and the view point of things are very good from Robert. Just saying the other part makes it sound mean guys. Peace

@@adil514 No, lets say you make 100k, and need to pay 30k in tax, if you donate 30k to charity your income is now 70k and you need to pay tax on that as per usual, only way to completely get out of tax is to donate all 100k to charity but that would mean you haven't made anything
@Maximilian_1
@Maximilian_1 4 жыл бұрын
Adil Qayum Depends on whatever your tax bracket is in your country, say for example it was just a flat rate of 30% for everyone then you would pay 30% of 70k which is 21k, in reality it would be slightly less than that as you pay more tax the more you make but the point is that by giving to charity you are essentially just earning less money so you pay less tax. Guy that earns 100k a year pays more tax than guy that earns 70k a year.

Mike Burton I agree with you on this, I come from a poor household and we are still struggling day to day. I was fortunate to have extremely hardworking parents who did the best they could with the knowledge that they had. I grew up, believing that the only way to provide food, water, shelter and light for my family was that I had to work to the bone, mind you, I am 32 and have been working this way since I turned 17. I believed That there simply was no other way and that the rich were born into that lifestyle or they were people who simply got a lucky break. It wasn’t until recently that I learned that it doesn’t have to be this way...but going back to what she said, I may financially not be able to give but that in no way makes me greedy. I give in different ways to those around me and to assume or say that the only way to give is financially is pretty sad. Oh and also, my parents never asked for government help while they raised us. It was not until 2011 when my mom got diagnosed with cancer that we were forced to apply to get her help. And same went for my Dad, he applied for help due to health issues, 3months after applying he received his first check from social security, he passed away 7 days later and we received the letter in the mail that he was finally approved for his Medicaid the same day passed away....I believe most poor people like myself currently are poor not necessarily by choice but because of lack of financial knowledge and understanding....Sorry for my rant lol, and THANK YOU for standing up for us little guys...Not all heroes wear capes!!! ^_~

Sorry only got a second...I'm really really busy on closing an investment deal. But I heard Robert say agents work for tips. That's like the nicest fact. The fact that resonates with me the most as a former agent. Is that an agent works for talentless hacks called brokers. Who won't even let new agents into the field. Ppl ask me why I forsook agency.. they're like why I not renew your.licenze? U get in trouble with trec? Nope? Was it's about the monthly fee? Nope...definitely nope since I'm good at real estate. Why? It's simple...brokers want broker fees...but they don't want new agents. They wanna hold onto their nursing home called brokerages. Don't believe me? Go get ur license and see it for urself..and good luck. I was walking into brokers not sponsored with guaranteed clients..show you how much they know, right. Today is the day...I bury the no money cult called employment and the nursing home called agencies.. For good...nothing against nursing homes as I a 41yr old respect true elders. Any cheers..you have reading this and loving it..ur probably the next business owner like myself. Keep up the Robert..thanks

Unfortunately you did. Apparantly no one noticed because they're all busy getting rich. I like the rich dad philosophy but by saying things like this mr. Kiyosaki and Alexandra show that they may have financial intelligence but a complete lack of emotional intelligence. "The only ones that are greedy are the poor because they have nothing to give" I think it's the biggest insult and most stupid thing I've ever heard in my life. But then again you'll probably never get really rich if you don't think this way.

Robert K could have explained that better.

I totally believe in what your doing Robert! I just question WHY the government like the state's public school systems do not teach financial education? What a wonderful world we could create if young people knew what you know! I'm only becoming aware of it at 47 and hell, I've been trying to get educated for a long time. I just never knew.....

Michael Smith The paradox is that the people running the public school system don't possess this knowledge and if they did, they wouldn't be working for the public school system. This knowledge is not widely propagated which is why Robert is doing such a public good through these videos.

Mr Kiyosaki, does this tax law work for everyone all over the world? Or do taxes differ from country to country and continent to continent? If so, how can I educate myself all about taxes in my country?

I'd like to hear what Mr. Kiyosaki has to say about infrastructure development... since he seems to think that taxes aren't supposed to do anything other than support the bureaucracy. I would also like to hear how HE made his wealth without using infrastructure made by the government out of other people's taxes that he himself now thinks he shouldn't pay.

Robert disappointed me little bit.. I thought that Robert is against socialism and instead he uses the money like government … Wouldn't it be better to have no taxes and let people live their lives ? If I was Robert my priority goal would be exactly that (so lower taxes, gold/silver standard - pay for that change, influence politicians+voters etc.) the last would be to use the money for charity - don't get me wrong, it is nice but it should be people who earn enough money (no/little taxes in existence) and these people pay voluntarily to charity ! If everybody was like Robert no house would be built. There has to be all sorts of profesion (workers etc…). So eventualy there is Government and Roberts (again don't get me wrong) who take peoples money and pays with them for wars charity and waste of money… for people nothing left - That is not right. Eventually at some point people will experiense the disaster… In case that ROBERT see no other option then pay to charity then I take back my critisism...

Well whether I do what the government wants or not is irrelevant. They don't have the right to tax people's labor. Income tax is also a choice that we all willingly support whenever we file each year. Income taxes, social security, and medicare taxes are farce expenses. It's forced payment on threat of jail (aka theft)
