The global economy is constantly evolving, and recent events such as France's decision to work with China and the growing trend of countries applying to join the BRICS indicate a shift away from the US dollar as the global reserve currency. In this episode of the Rich Dad Radio Show, Robert Kiyosaki and Andy Schectman explain the importance of being aware of macro-level events and their potential impact on the economy.
They warn of the potential consequences of the US dollar losing its status as the world reserve currency, including hyperinflation, the rise of dictators, and civil war. They also discuss the importance of investing in physical gold and silver as a hedge against inflation and economic instability.
Moreover, they discuss the significance of the US dollar's petro standard and how recent events may signal the end of the dollar's hegemony. They also touch on the importance of being proactive and knowing who you do business with, as well as the benefits of investing in assets like gold and silver that do not have counterparty liability.
This episode emphasizes the need to pay attention to macro-level events and their potential impact on the global economy. It highlights the importance of being prepared and knowledgeable about these events, as they can have a significant impact on the availability of precious metals and other resources. As we navigate an increasingly complex and changing world, it is crucial to stay informed and take action to protect our wealth and well-being.

I began my investment journey at the age of 38, primarily through hard work and dedication. Now at the age of 42, I am thrilled to share that my passive income exceeded $100k in a single month for the first time. This success reinforces the importance of the advice mentioned earlier. It is not about achieving quick wealth, but rather ensuring long-term financial prosperity.

Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.

Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $483k in just the past two quarters. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choices I have made recently.

I've suspected this for awhile. I work for a major petfood manufacturing company in the USA. About a year n half ago we started seeing lots of Chinese businessmen touring the plant. Not long afterwards we had plant meeting where we told In a cryptic presentation that China was the new boss. After that everything that we started making was being shipped to China and a few of the Nations they are in alliance with. France being one of them. It has became the norm at my job now. Alot of these US corporations are already in league with the new order of the world.

I’m not sure we can prepare enough . When food will cost 4500.00 a loaf of bread & retired persons have a full year before the inflation information comes out. 50% of the country will starve. They won’t starve on peace either. We can’t buy enough Gold or silver because we still need to pay ever increasing taxes oil & insurance costs, along with credit card interest rates. The best I can hope for is the ability to leave the US. Oh but I hear passport services are not issuing. What a mess.

Jim Rickards has made it clear that foreign central banks don’t literally hold U.S. dollars but rather have 60 percent of their reserves in U.S. Treasury bills denominated in U.S. dollars. If they someday decide to sell off all or most of these treasury bills it is not clear to me the mechanism by which dollars would return to the U.S. and cause hyperinflation. Could you explain how dollars would actually flood into American consumer markets in such a scenario in one of your future shows? Thank you so much for a great podcast!

Most of us tend to ignore that unique fact/part of the history. Moreover, China is the longest and continuous civilization state (as some scholars called it) since ancient time (BCE) till today! Some economists have projected that both the U.S. and parts of Europe could slip into a recession for a portion of 2023. A global recession, defined as a contraction in annual global per capita income, is more rare because China and emerging markets often grow faster than more developed economies. Essentially the world economy is considered to be in recession if economic growth falls behind population growth.

In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. A visual/memory of the debacle of 'running away' from Afghanistan by the US & its military, was the military transport taxing away with people clinging to the aircraft and at its worst, after take off, some falling to their deaths! Military Transport= US Government Civilians clinging & falling = US allies

mutually beneficial?? peaceful deals?? mr Andy, have you actually researched these infrastructure projects China is making abroad? have you seen what people in those countries think about them? I strongly urge you to do so! so far all I'm seeing is how well you eat up that Chinese state propaganda (and probably their money) and how well you pass it on

How inept can one be. Janet Yellen is claiming that de-dollarisation is not a worry for her😮

Well de-dollarisation is a vital part of bringing in a system not dependant on the current structure of the dollar so why would it be a problem for her? It's like you know you are getting a new car and your kids get upset when they see a 'for sale' sign on your current car. They might be attached to it but you know there is a new one in-coming.

So basically the us dollar needs to be backed by something. It may be gold, oil, gas or us real estate? Maybe all that us produces( if possible)? Either that or the usd will fall.

Like he said in one of his history lessons. WWW2, with hyperinflation in Germany, an ounce of gold would buy you a whole block of real estate.

At 34:16 you stated that the banks who wanted the US to print more dollars for their reserves was going to give all that money back and that would cause hyperinflation. But correct me if I am wrong, the banks had to purchase US dollars with their own currencies, and then pay the Americans for the bonds that fill their reserve currencies(with US dollars). So the banks hold the notes that force us to give them back the dollar. So how would this cause hyperinflation?

We have finally hit our goal on silver and gold. We've been buying 20 ozt of silver rounds per month and 1 ozt gold quartly, for 8 years and 4 months. 2,000 ozt .999% silver rounds (mostly SD BULLION FREEDOM ROUNDS) 33 ozt of .999% gold coins (Both "Buffalos and Maples") We have other gold and silver too (Gold and Silver U.S. Eagles), but those don't have my preferred ".999% purity." In a barter/trade scenario, those U.S Eagles will go first.
