Gotta admit, that sounds so sweet. And the tech inside is very impressive. For many this is probably the only true ICE muscle car that you'd want, within the sub-A$100K range. Not for me though, I think if I was going after muscle, I'd go for the Hyundai Ioniq-5N. Sacrilege? ...maybe but I'm a techie geek and the 5N does it for me.

Am in the middle of a four day 2022 convertible hire and OMG what a fun drive. First convertible, first V8. Geez, a surprisingly easy drive and so much fun. BUT, quite terrifying in Sports + mode though. As fast as I ever could wish for... I must admit, I very much prefer the more classic twin dials in front of the driver compared to this continuous computer screen on the 2025. That does not feel very muscle car to me at all. Also the lack of chunky mode switches and the like on this 2025 version. My car felt a little like being in an aircraft cockpit - this current model looks more like a Hyundai Kona to me. Overall, a car that makes life better... Every trip.

You can get a spare tyre as an accessory. I looked at the other options but I wanted a rear wheel drive, manual car and the V8 sealed the deal. I am actually upgrading from an MX5 which I love.

The Mustang is a direct injection engine that explains the good fuel usage the Australian V8s were not direct injection engines so they surely would have used more fuel.
@351tgv2 ай бұрын
The 302ci version was direct injection, when Ford changed it to 304ci the engine gained MPEFI (Sequential) for low rpm (up to 3,000rpm) and direct injection (anything above 3,000rpm to redline), the current one got twin throttle body for better air floe through the plenum intake

I no longer want Mustang of any trim level. If the S650 had a Tremec manual I could have considered it but I’m really happy with my Camaro. There's only ONE way any enthusiast could enjoy a car without breaking any speed limits, or drive like a hoon, and that is to drive a V8. You could drive like grandma and just enjoy the rumble. Even if it only has 200hp it's still enough to extract a smile accompanied by that warm and fuzzy feeling. This car does that, but then mimics the soundtrack of a friggin nascar when you put your boot in it. As far as im concerned there simply is no competition to this anywhere less than double the price. Prove me wrong. (Trucks and 4WDs not included). Any enthusiast will agree. Anyone just looking for a fancy a looking car or caring about economy, will disagree. Going back to that V8 soundtrack for a moment. The Coyote is the most volumetrically efficient production engine on the planet. Prove me wrong Mk2. It lays the foundation for 3000+hp, so please don't embarrass yourselves by talking about economy as it just shows how little you know about the intent of this engine.

Yes anybody and even you can buy Dark Horse right now , there are half a dozen on car sales right now.Because all the dealers where allocated to them first and the story they told everybody " ALL 1000 reported examples to Australia are sold " is absolute BS nonsense. ACCC need to investigate the car dealers over this because now they are being sold by these scalpers dealers, deliberately for more than the RRP this was always going to happen, it similar to what's happened with the Corvette , "yes its coming to Australia you can order it", but then you could not order it , then you could, then you had to over pay to buy it , wait ages , then they were available but priced gouged almost double the reported RRP by the one person bringing it in to Australia , who was able to get exclusive rights to it. This means he can charge what ever the demand is. Its all very deliberate to make punters over pay . Yes any body can buy a Dark horse in Australia right now in 2024 , if you want to over pay the car dealers that are pretending to be private sellers on Car Sales .
