Thermalling in the Xenos - Steep Turns

Doing some local soaring on 6-26-2016 in Hobbs, NM in the Xenos motorglider. Thermals were at times very strong, but equally narrow. I was doing a lot of steep-banked thermalling in order to climb. As usual, the Xenos performed very well.

What is your best glide ratio to date in still air and engine off?

I'm not certain. Sonex says 24:1 from their testing. I have thus far been unable to get reliable numbers from it. My "impression" is that it is somewhere between 20 and 24. The impression comes from flying Schweizer 1-26's and 2-33's. One of these days I hope to nail the glide polar down solid, and have the glide ratio without question.
