Soaring in the Xenos

Today was my first chance to do some soaring in the Xenos. It definitely exceeded my expectations! It was a weak day, but I was still able to gain 3,500', soar for over an hour, and glide 17 miles back to the airport. Very nice glider!

I really like the xenos thinking about buying one . How does the xenos handle in a crosswind say 15 or 20 mph ? I can’t find that info anywhere. Thank you Great vid watched it a couple times think I’ll watch it again 👍

If I remember correctly, the most crosswind component I could reasonably handle was about 14mph.

I'm assuming only need a glider PPL which is nice no medical go up to 18K feet. Thats a rough runway

Yes. With the right engine, could get u across the country at fl 17000 .
