Stupid product? Still a better investment option than apple's 999$ aluminum stand
@LRRPEXILE
@LRRPEXILE 5 жыл бұрын
정지호 Your Apple comment is irrelevant, trying to justify the cost reasons is stupid we’re PC gamers and this TT Sit-Stand Desk for $1200 is Ridiculously Stupid!... Just because TT is adding RGB LED and a Giant Mouse Matt to really cover the split desk top doesn’t justify the pricing TT!!!.. You have other companies selling these motorized sit stand desk with accessories (package deals) at higher measurements for $700 - $800 depending on your custom style. Nowadays you also have IKEA with a new good solid motorized sit stand desk for $600 or just buy the frame and create your own style, saving you an easy $500-$600 that can go towards PC hardware, peripherals or whatever.

There is a flaw in the like dislike voting with this type of video... I bet those who disliked this video dont like the desk and that is why they voted dislike... or they are rich spoilt brats who did not like your honest review on this ridiculously priced desk that you could find one in amazon for 100 pounds that will also hold your PC, and if you do your research on the size you only have to buy it once and not adjust it every day... I mean really, unless your going to sleep on it daily (lol) the point of moving desk up and down is fruitless... unless you rich folk have many fake friends of different sizes coming over to play and free load of your cash the sure get a motorised desk... but other than that, your desk and PC is for you, and you alone.. the one and only end user, no one else. Keep being awesome Kit Guru.. love and light

I recently bought the Ikea Bakant Sit/Stand desk and it's utterly brilliant. Easy to put together and extremely well made. Can handle to big heavy load, probably not as much as this one but I have a massively heavy Coolermaster Stormtrooper full case so I keep it under the table where its out of the way and I get more space up top, not that there is any shortage of space up top either as its a 180cm by 80cm so ...ahem long and deep.... Perfect for 4 or so monitors on arms or three on the top itself. (I personally have a couple of 32" screens, keyboard, massive mouse mat and my flight stick and hotas with a massive amount of empty real estate) The motor is silent and the cable tidy's are very good. It doesn't have any RGB but I've never really been a fan, you could probably buy a few strips for quite cheap and place them on quite easily. This was £505 and I highly recommend it. So I don't know if I would pay the extra for such a desk.

My thoughts as well, too expensive for an adjustable height desk. ~£1350 gets you one Lian Li DK-04X a far superior desk.

for that kind of money i think i'd get a motorized desk, then go to ali express, get myself a couple of meters of 60 rgb leds/meter strip with diffused coating for like 6 bucks a meter, tape it around the desk myself, and get busy with an arduino (or ESP32 if you want the wi-fi and bluetooth functions) i've had my PC under the desk for years, sure it requires a bit more cleanup as the dust tends to go there, but lower temperatures also go there, so i guess it's a tradeoff. besides, more room for clutter on the desk!

Do TT provide exchangeable mats? The one bundled sooner or later will be dirty, scratched etc. At this price point, this desk should contain pc chassis with build in water loop, tempered glass surface, headphones hanger, mic boom, and monitor arm. And with build in touch screen controller. :) On a part when you assembled it, it was clear how cheap it is made. Nope, just no. Really bad design. I can imagine making a desk like this DIY for £150.

Motorised desk on Amazon with a weight limit of 80KG (which is enough, who has a 150KG computer?) for £400. Utterly ridiculous price, basically paying for the brand and the lights. I clicked on this video because I thought it was going to be a desk that you could build a PC inside. But one that just goes up and down, and lights up? No thanks.

That this desk could carry a human man's weight intrigues me. I see it lowers you but will it lift you as well? Its less than half the size and much lighter than my current desk and way cheaper by more than a quarter. (Think custom two levels. Think 9 feet wide. Think heavy tube steel on wheels.) Mind you mine does not go up and down or have rgb. I use mine for 3d graphics video editing and sound design. I would be curious to see if it sags in the middle after a year of use. Over the last 30 years I have gone through several desks so I appreciate any attempt by manufacturers to make a 12 hour animation session more bearable. I like the uppie downie thing but that split in the middle wouldn't last under the type of use I would put to it. I have had to laminate support into more than one leaf dining tables in my travels. (Dining tables are too tall and will give you shoulder cramps after a while) The Rgb would be more than useless I already have huge screens shining light at me. When surfaces are lit from behind like that you cant see what is on them so forget notes or sketches. That said this desks would have appealed to me size wise back when I was only running 2 workstations. Perfect for a couple of towers and monitors with the keyboard (Musical) and such stack on its own stand to the side. I would say it may seem expensive today but if it is still kicking around 8 years later and still working this could be a very smart buy/investment. I also use Noble Icon Chairs.

Looks like a glorified sit/stand desk I mean you even have to assemble it like any other Ikea desk and yet you still have to pay way more! The RGB should be implemented in a more elegant way for this kind of cost. What a rip off this is. Not much innovation went into this desk for gamers I mean even the cable management it provides looks pathetic.
