Just from looking at it, I would think airflow would be poor with the layout of intakes, fans, and exhaust space in that case. I'm interested in seeing if I'm wrong or right. Hopefully they do a longer temperature test of 8+ hours which would represent more closely real world usage for a beast of a cage like that.
@KravMagoo5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I'm interested to see this go through a thermo test. I like the general idea of a roomy case, but having the I/O come out the top seems bizarre and is probably a deal breaker for me. But I'm willing to see what she does with it. Plus, eye candy doesn't cause cavities!

PCWorld hey thanks for the reply, I’m kinda nervous, this is my first build and it’s definitely not a traditional case to learn in. I’m looking forward to the video if you guys make it! Keep up the great work.
@vf17644 жыл бұрын
That's an impressive breakdown of the case, I also find that really weird about the headset setup and how the usb slots just pop out (I rarely use the ones in the front for that reason). My friend has a cube case and I was pretty jealous of how much space she had!

Can you install fans on those drive cages? It looks like you can purchase additional drive cages for more than 5 drives. Am I correct in thinking that?

Please don't take too long to do a follow-up to this video. Needing to make a decision for my 3950x system and this is a contender (although the top exit I/O could be a deal breaker).

@magnusnilsson97925 жыл бұрын
Nice review, but I prefer my core V21. I like the top IO and the orientation of the bottom, but all placings of all the fans are stupid. Are you supposed to use the fans to wash the glasspanels? This also has a lot of volume that is unused, I could probably fit a 20L aquarium with fishes in this case.
@wolfshetzer96234 жыл бұрын
At this price, I would expect more sharp metal edge padding. Because for the USB cable and Displayport cable this is necessary in the upper part.

I think NZXT spoiled me with their cases ever since the S340. I want my case made of metal. I don't buy CoolerMaster, Thermaltake, or those other older case companies because I don't want my $2k investment housed in a giant McDonald's toy. Despite that, it's a cool design and I'd love to see you guys do a build in it.

This case seems like it would be ok for display at some convention, but rather impractical for real use at home, but I am not into building cases just for show so maybe it is perfect for the many people who are. At least Alaina did not get any nasty gashes in her hands, which was surprising as much as she kept rubbing every edge and corner inside the case.

Since i had a Core X9, i dont like those TT Cube Cases anymore.. All the Features and installation Options you could use, "aren't" meant to be used "in the same time". If you Install (for example) a Radiator on Spot A, you cant use the Drive Cages, or the PSU needs to seddle on a differennt Spot..etc...etc... This Case, for Example, has just one Install point for a Radiator in the back chamber, the other Side needs to stay free for the PSU, so if you think this is a Rededesign of a Tower 900... nope... just "kind of" ... So its always the same, if you Use "A", You'll lose Option "B".. That was the Moment, when i started thinking: No, TT! Thats NOT what i've paid for!"

Other than an abundance of cable management space (the abyss...lol) I can see absolutely no reason anyone would want to build inside this monstrosity. Water cooling? No thanks. Too gimmicky and unnecessary. A 2 reservoir build? That's a hard pass.
@lovescamaros14 жыл бұрын
why build a computer at all? We want the ability to customize for looks and performance and you are not exactly cooling an overclocked cpu with air, are you? I don't exactly want a build with 10 fans as that totally unnecessary and ugly.
