Wow what a build. Where do you connect the 2 pumps to the motherboard ?
@Hardwareunboxed7 жыл бұрын
These pumps are to power hungry for that, they connect using 4-pin molex connectors.

@3:51 Why not have the block logo the same direction as the mobo? With dual loops the in/out orientation doesn't matter much.
@Hardwareunboxed7 жыл бұрын
Doing that would have wreaked the look of the pipes as they would be stacked rather than side by side.

I've been looking for a good water cooling time lapse and a thermaltake the tower build. dope.

use this with an rtx 3090 and amd threadripper as that syteam would be very warm

The build is looking nice so far, I can't wait to see the finish build. I would've put the CPU and the water block, RAM and M.2 on the MB before placing it in the case. I think you had to remove the drive cages to put in the last two remaining screws of the CPU water block. I noticed you had a hard time putting the 2 screws in the video, and on those you had some clearance for the installation.
@Hardwareunboxed7 жыл бұрын
+Ichigo Uzumaki Yeah that is how I would do it off camera. This is more dramatic ;) Thanks for watching and giving feedback mate!

It looks fantastic but the issue I find is why did you use triple rad. It can house two 560mm / 4x140mm rads on each side.

No 2017 Custom loop build is great without Thermaltake rgb fittings. I mean it, not sarcastic. Really love them

100% agreed, not sarcastic. Sadly they don't work with the opaque coolant.

What's funny is that you can have the exact same specs in a case literally 15 times smaller and nothing would overheat.

That's not the point though is it, The Tower 900 is a display case.

Agreed. It's all about the presentation, though some badass hardware would also help to impress the audience. Great proof of concept though.

Only suggestion is to install casters on that beast. I have a Core X9 in which I placed 3 XSPC RX480 rads and due to weight I found casters from Apollo Caster company that were EXACT mount plate match ups for the Core X9 mounting holes. Much easier to move.

Hard tubing is better in pretty much every way, the only downside being it's not practical for changing hardware and it's worlds harder to install! :)
@ZeroAlytus7 жыл бұрын
Hard tubing look nice but i afraid leak ( this thing stop me change my soft tubing loop). You just put hard tube in fitting , and just couple rubbers prevents leak

Im glad i didnt order the black version of this chassis now, the white looks so much better, and will distribute the led light better as well. but here's a friendly tip, rinse the radiators before use to get rid of the microscopic metal particles, these can discolor the tubing and water

Just out of curiosity, since I really like how that tower looks, any chance this will might as well run with traditional air cooling (no water cooling) as well any good, given the amount of fans I could put in there ? Really interested in this.

The Tower 900 was created because a very talanted french modder named "Sassanou" did a mod ("The tower"). It was based on the Thermaltake Core X9 and he turned the X9 into an open-air tower case. Thermaltake really liked the mod so they asked Sassanou if he wanted to do a case (based on his mod of course) wich will be saled, he accepted and after 1 year of hard work Thermaltake annouced The Tower 900 ! I'm french, so sorry if I did some mistakes with the language ;) ! Here is a quick interview of the modder about him and his mod : gametechmodding.com/3877-2/ If you want to know more, Google is yout friend ;) !
