they got away with it last time, the 4070Ti, that started as a "4080 12GB" was actually a 4060 but they got away with calling it a 4070Ti and just like last time people will still buy it

In Romania scalpers and some stores sell 5080 with 2000 EUR and more this for a card with 9% -15 % performance over 4080 super that can be find at 1200 EUR. How long nvidia believe that will sell gpus to AI bubble farm's. Until i will see 4090 performance at 800 EUR ii wil remain at my RTX 3070, it is a strix and it will last 6 years. Nvidia consider all of us retards

What terrible opening lmao.. It’s already been proven that with some tuning the 5080 is basically on par with the 4090, it has loads of overlocking headroom.. A $2000 AUD RTX 4090… tell me how this is bad? You couldn’t even buy 4090’s for close to this. These guys are terrible 💀

The problem with your argument is, those clickbait videos you've seen about that OC'ing on the RTX 5080 do not represent reliability and stability in the long run, at all. I'd avise looking into Buildzoid videos on the RTX5080 PCBs, to notice that none is perfect at all, with the Asus Astral (at a whopping 50% price increase!) being the only really good one. So, to recommend such type of OC'ing on the RTX5080 is irresponsible and really bad advice, though that might result beneficial for good people like Northwestrepair and Krisfix-germany, who've specialized in repairing GPUs for people that should have known better in the first place! LOL

It needs to be said the sub 5090 cards look bad because Nvidia juices up the 90 series, the cards show all similar gain and lost in core- memory. The 90 series is an outlier with its gigantic leap in cores etc while the other cards still follow the same patent they have been using for the past 10 years.
